In fact, the whole “will she or won’t she” thing is looking like it was a setup (similar to Hillary at the 2008 Democratic convention) to get people to watch, in this case maybe arranged by the Republican leadership and Collins together, to get people to watch her very long-winded pitch for why Kavanaugh should be confirmed. Unfortunately her pitch is basically ‘don’t worry: he won’t overturn Roe v. Wade.’

The more I hear Collins reciting Kavanaugh’s decisions and writing in defending him, the less impressed I am with Kavanaugh. Just because the Left hates him doesn’t mean he’s going to be any good for the Right.

I hold no illusions that Kav is going to be much different than Kennedy, he’ll be an improvement, but not that much.
