I think that’s what I’ve heard. I had a friend with it. Very frustrating to have.
My mom has it. One of the treatments is Botox shots in your throat by your vocal chords every 6 months or so. It worked but the side effects were that she had trouble swallowing water and everything else and almost choked to death! She stopped after that. She has gotten a lot better since then. It mostly turned out to be from anxiety.
