My Experience With a False Allegation by a Woman
10/1/2018 | MeanWestTexan

I was falsely accused of having an affair and fathering a child with a woman I never met.

A WOMAN I NEVER MET.

I am a reasonably locally-prominent person. I had the misfortune of being on the front page of a local paper one day when a lady I'd never met gave birth. I gave a lot of money to a school.

She saw me on the paper. She saw I was wealthy and reasonably important. So when the clerk came in with the birth certificate form to fill out, she put my name.

She went on welfare and concocted a giant story of an affair. She was very convincing.

I was briefly forced to pay child support until I spent a lot of money on DNA tests (yes, plural). All came back that the kid was not mine.

I had to attend court several times. I took a deposition. I had to attend court-mandated parenting classes for a child I never wanted to see. I never got my money back.

Probably all in, it cost me $50,000, counting my lawyers.

I almost got a divorce. People gossiped, and do to this day.

Nothing ever happened to the lady who lied. It's a crime to put false information on an official form, but despite my requests to prosecute, nothing happened.

My name remains on the birth certificate, as there apparently is no way to change it. My lawyers take this into account when they set up trusts and wills and whatnot for my estate.

All because some random bitch lied.

I’m sorry to hear about your rape. I have a daughter, and we talk all the time about these sorts of things all the time.

Trying to teach her how to be situationally aware, and that respect is earned and not owed. I also told her how to use some of her self-defense stuff and that the non-lethal stuff is always something you can apologize for if you got the wrong vibe and acted out of an abundance of caution.

For men and women both, the trick is wanting what you’ve got. That includes your experiences. It’s never the circumstances, its who and how you made it through the shit.

I’ve been divorced now going on the third year, and I’d love to meet a woman who was like minded but totally her own person. Haven’t even started looking.

As a Christian woman, I am disgusted and appalled at how rigged and unbalanced our systems are against men. I don’t get it. I am so sorry for your unjust treatment...but grateful you started this thread despite the anger and pain it is bringing back to you and your family. God bless you and know that your words of caution will possibly help some guy down the road who may have had his eyes opened a bit. (I just now said to hubby...never be alone in a room with a woman at work!)

“They never even got back to me. DISMISSED”

My educational degrees are Geology, Pharmacy, and Chemisty. I have degrees in Geology and Pharmacy and also almost aviation. When studying pharmacy I was a flight instructor and taught the kids in aviation. I could have also had a degree in aviation if I desired but my prime motive was to finish pharmacy school and make money again. The oilfield went down the tubes in 1983 and my geology degree was no longer of value. I went back to school to become a pharmacist. A couple of courses and I would have had an aviation degree but it was of no importance. In Pharmacy I have enough chemistry for a degree in that school but the chemistry department did not recognize out pharmaceutical courses as valid chemistry.

That is just a turf fight between chemistry and pharmacy. That is okay as we pharmacy grads made a lot more money than the chem grads. The rare times I have been called for jury duty I have been dismissed. The prosecution does not want logical thinkers schooled in science.

No, I have never been asked to do jury duty. No lawyer is gonna want a doctor on the jury.
