This tweet was posted by the great researcher Joe Sheppard:
"Black support for GOP Florida Governor candidate DeSantis 16%" first confirmation aggregate Trump Black approval of 16% being transferred. if universal a disaster for Dem's Black, Not Hispanic DeSantis: 16.1% Gillum: 78.5% Undecided: 5.4%"
TOPICS: Politics; Society
KEYWORDS: 2018election; 2018midterms; 2020election; andrewgillum; bellcurve; blackvote; blackvoting; election2018; election2020; fl2018; florida; rondesantis; tallahassee; walkaway
If DeSantis does not pick up any of the "undecideds" which is very unlikely, 16% of the African American vote is a devastating blow to Gillum. There are very few Democrats running for anything that can withstand such a hit.
Those believe that Blacks will not vote for Trump endorsed candidates have to explain this data in a poll from a paper owned by the New York Times.

I find rather stunning that a communist like Gillum is even competitive in this race.

Just about every Black person I have worked with over the years prefers the opportunity to earn an honest paycheck to a government handout. While this may be a biased sample because I am unlikely to have worked with those who prefer the government handout route, I believe it is still a sizeable portion of said demographic.

“Black support for GOP Florida Governor candidate DeSantis 16%”
Anything better than 5-10% from that crew would be a miracle.

Sounds as if it was written by a high school kid who is not doing well. Par for the course with website vanities here... breathless, sketchy details, poor grammar, the whole bit.

Tweets don’t copy and paste well as is and no one tries to fix it here with html or even putting a space between lines, punctuation etc.
I usually just go straight to the tweet but of course, can’t do that in this case.

I see many of you have no idea what a quote from Twitter looks like.
