Apprentice star-turned-spurned White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman opened a new front in her war on the West Wing on Sunday, attacking chief of staff John Kelly as a bully who drummed her out of the White House unfairly.
With new prey in her talons, Manigault Newman gave voice to many of the problems that have roiled the West Wing. In a tell-all interview with NBC’s Meet the Press, she spoke in dramatic terms about the White House’s difficulties with race, honesty and loyalty, at the same time that President Donald Trump is reckoning again with criticism of his equivocal response one year ago to violence at a white-supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.
And Manigault Newman put some of the problems she described on stark display Sunday, surfacing a tape she surreptitiously recorded in the White House Situation Room.
"You have to have your own back, because otherwise you'll look back and see 17 knives in your back,” she said of her decision to record conversations in the White House.
Manigault Newman said that she taped conversations with Kelly and others to protect herself, but her accusations may backfire. She argued that she was terminated unfairly, revealing that she had taped the conversation in which Kelly dismissed her, citing “integrity violations,” back in December.

The view will hire her and claim she is the new token conservative and will be replacing Huntsman in the fall.
From what I can tell, it's just a whine-all book.
Because it looks to be pretty much Omarosa whining about how badly she was treated at the White House.
Omarosa's realized her 15 minutes is up and she's trying to stretch it out a little bit longer with this negative book.
I always suspect whining, complaining ex-employees as sour grapes not worthy of consideration.
IOW, she's got an axe to grind.
OMG that moment when you declare yourself a tower of integrity and use a secret recording you made in a top secret situation room where no cell phones, etc are allowed, to prove it. What a maroon! I see the media just salivating over the tape and her - it’s disgusting.

Wait a minute, isn’t recording private conversations in and of itself an integrity issue?
“Could” backfire? This little stunt already has.
Now, Omarosa had a perfectly good opportunity to walk away with pretty much a whole hide and her reputation safe and intact, all she had to do was say, “Yes, sir, thank you all very kindly for the constructive advice”, and walk away with a smile, with probably a glowing reference to apply for the next position.
But NOOOO. had to take the scorched earth path, and burn all the bridges of the way out.

In some states you do & in some states you don’t.
However recording anything In a high security area even having the capability on your person to record is very illegal!

Going into the conversation, Kelly had anticipated a fight, according to two senior administration officials. And rumors had also begun to spread through the White House that Manigault Newman was recording conversations, according to a former senior administration official. Those people said that’s why Kelly took Manigault Newman into the Situation Room, where officials are asked to surrender their electronic devices, which are put under lock and key, before entering. Staffers are barred from bringing those devices into the Situation Room, where the most sensitive national security discussions are held, because they pose hacking risks.
She is an idiot. Trump has been helping her for years and got her the WH job. She spoiled her opportunity by being someone no one could work with which eventually got her fired. She still could have stayed in Trumps good graces and got a job in the Trump hotels. But she turned her back on him and wrote this book which will give her about one week of publicity. After that, she has no fall back position and Trump has many connections which means she is unemployable. Even the left will discard her. She really burned her bridges.
She’s done it before..when she was on The Apprentice she accused a woman of calling her the N word and that turned out to be bogus too..she has a history of this..President Trump is a good man, he trusts people, but he should have seen this one coming she has a long history of this kind of behavior
