Eric Church, one of the headliners at the Route 91 festival in Las Vegas — the scene of the 2017 massacre known as the deadliest mass shooting by an individual in modern U.S. history — is blaming the NRA for the attacks. Church performed at the festival two nights before the shooting, and the experience has changed his views on guns “a little,” he says. While fellow country singer Jason Aldean was performing, a gunman opened fire on the crowd, killing at least 58 people. Now Church is speaking out about the incident. While he says he considers himself a “Second Amendment guy,” referring to the right to bear arms, Church is blaming the NRA and gun lobbyists for being a “roadblock” to gun safety, according to a recent interview with Rolling Stone. “There are some things we can’t stop,” Church told the magazine. “Like the disgruntled kid who takes his dad’s shotgun and walks into a high school. But we could have stopped the guy in Vegas.” The “Desperate Man” singer added: “I blame the lobbyists. And the biggest in the gun world is the NRA.”

Another idiot. Guns kill, people don’t. So why didn’t they arrest the gun when they found him dead after he killed a lot of people with that out of control, untrustworthy weapon. It would sure save a lot of prison money as the damned thing don’t eat, drink, or go to the can. And it will not try to escape or try for a retrial. Makes a lot of sense to me. (If I was a moron)

My XM channels are 60s/70s/80s ones plus Old Time Radio on 148.
Yacht Rock is my favorite channel since I know a guy who sounds exactly like the fellow who does the bumpers. I can also see the same dude with the ascot, captain’s hat, monogrammed blazer, martini glass, and the rest so easily.
Roy Rogers actually did shoot. I met him when I was little at the local gun club. He was entered in a skeet shoot competition.

If there is one lesson that singers/musicians and Hollywood stars should have learned lately, is not to get political. Eric Church is now damaged by his stupidity of getting political.
