Eric Church, one of the headliners at the Route 91 festival in Las Vegas — the scene of the 2017 massacre known as the deadliest mass shooting by an individual in modern U.S. history — is blaming the NRA for the attacks. Church performed at the festival two nights before the shooting, and the experience has changed his views on guns “a little,” he says. While fellow country singer Jason Aldean was performing, a gunman opened fire on the crowd, killing at least 58 people. Now Church is speaking out about the incident. While he says he considers himself a “Second Amendment guy,” referring to the right to bear arms, Church is blaming the NRA and gun lobbyists for being a “roadblock” to gun safety, according to a recent interview with Rolling Stone. “There are some things we can’t stop,” Church told the magazine. “Like the disgruntled kid who takes his dad’s shotgun and walks into a high school. But we could have stopped the guy in Vegas.” The “Desperate Man” singer added: “I blame the lobbyists. And the biggest in the gun world is the NRA.”

No need to know who is is now. His country career has hit a big snag due to his big mouth.

Las Vegas massacre was a bungled attempt by the FBI to gin up support for gun confiscation. Once they can get guns away from the public, than the Deep State’s power would be unchecked and permanent. It didn’t work out the way they expected. I’m sure the FBI is now planning a larger massacre of Americans. That won’t work either.

Eric Church is a nut case. Instead of blaming those guilty, like the killer and his squeeze, he blames the NRA.
It amazes me a lot of those folks who are successful in entertainment or sports seem to think they now know what is best for the Republic.
I’m sure there’s a few good ones around today. I just don’t want to waste my time weeding through the rest of the crap.
New country “stars” are a dime a dozen.
"Second Amendment guy" is the exact same phrase used by Democrat Doug Jones in his campaign for a US Senate seat from Alabama in 2017. Then in his very first speech after being elected, he called for greater restrictions on gun ownership.
