But in Google-land, where every other esoteric anniversary/birthday on the face of our diverse, multi-cultural, all-inclusive planet is celebrated to much fanfare, they just couldnt bring themselves to even mention it. It would probably be considered triggering and that might send the snowflakes to the streets again, screaming.
Imagine what the world would be like today if the Greatest Generation had decided to hold a day of rage rather than fight the people who attacked us. Imagine if Winston Churchill had told his countrymen to go scream helplessly at the skywhen the Germans attacked instead of bellicosely advising them that:
We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight! With growing confidence and growing strength in the air! We shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the ...streets. We shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender!
Mind you, the people screaming helplessly at the sky today are the same ones who want Israel to surrender to the people who have declared themselves to be sworn enemies of the Jews. They are the ones who will be condemning Trump for fulfilling the promise of every U.S. President since Clinton to move the embassy to Israels capital city. Including the Bamster:

Every time i read some baby boomer screaming and whining about what they call snowflakes it reminds me that the snowflakes are tge baby boomers creation and legacy. Its idiocy
What generation created the Baby Boomers?
There would be "outreach" to the Japanese. We would be told that we instigated Pearl Harbor through our "racism". We would be told that we have to "understand" them and respect their "culture". A massive Shinto temple would be constructed over top of the bones of the USS Arizona.
We would invite Japs to America and give them private tours of our security apparatus and train stations and shipyards. Schoolchildren would be instructed in Japanese religious rituals, and taught Japanese prayers.
Far fetched? Not today.

By the end of the week, the outrage of a sneak attack will have been recast as a tragedy with yellow ribbons flying throughout the western seaboard. Meanwhile, FDR would have urged Americans to avoid any backlash against the Japanese.
Youth would be marching in the streets against the American imperialism that had us in the Philippines in the first place, while the State Department rushed to assure Germany that Pearl Harbor would not be used as an excuse to confront the Axis.
