"The fact Colin hasnt played this year or been on the field doesnt disqualify him."
I'd have to agree with this one. Instead of watching the NFL on weekends, we are out walking our dogs, talking to our neighbors, gardening and working on our home.
See, at least for me and my family, not watching NFL has made us healthier and happier.
We've decided to never go back...

Did he commit suicide? Because that’s the only thing this Hiyellar POS could do to improve America.

Who cares?
Watching the dying entities salute each other makes me laugh.
Big football fan and this is the time for a patriotic, wealthy American to form a new league and make a fortune, with rules BUILT IN, such as not disrespecting the Flag or the Anthem.

How appropriate. An award named after a draft dodger given to an American hater.

A Saudi who makes pretend he is black, who was adopted and raised by white people yet still makes pretend he is black has made the world a better place because he wore cops are pigs socks and kneels during the national anthem which to me he does not because of cop shootings, but because he's another American hating Islamo Nazi.

True, if you definition of "a better place" includes race baiting, hate mongering, racial division, and grievance peddling.
To: Bon of Babble
If Kaepernick has made anything a better place it is the hundreds of thousands of homes where people have given up wasting their day watching pro football and have realized there are things to enjoy in life other than watching millionaire thugs mock them.

I’m a believer in supporting select causes.. like the special cleats NFL players wear. Me, I’ve put Krapernicks face on the bottom of my special dog park sneakers. To all dogs everywhere, give one up for Krapernick.

SI - declining
NFL - declining
Colin - declining
Hilarious they chose a 2 year benchwarmer for the award.
To: Bon of Babble
Less people watching NFL Football has made the world a better place, so I think Kaepernick deserves the award.

For single-handedly bringing shame and derision on an entire sport, the winner is
Colin Kaepernick.
Honorable mention: Rosie Ruiz and the Chicago Black Sox

I guess SI thinks killing off the NFL is making the world a better place. Well, as the liberals say, if it feels good, do it.
I feel good not reading SI or watching the NFL.

I absolutely cannot watch any portion of an NFL game without feeling just a bit crappy inside. I used to be a Season Ticket owner.
Maybe this Chump Kaepernick did me a favor after all. I have more free time on Sundays and my quality of life is a bit improved.
