Twitter Protects Weinstein, Suspends Victim Rose McGowan

The liberal censors at Twitter, who have joined other social media outlets like Facebook in censoring conservative news and thought and defending liberal orthodoxy, have now stooped to censor the victims of Hollywood sexual predator Harvey Weinstein. The latest victim of Big Brother’s wrath is actress and Weinstein victim Rose McGowan:

Rose McGowan had a hold placed on her Twitter account Wednesday night, an act that quickly sparked outrage among the many users who have been following her posts ever since news first broke of the allegations against Harvey Weinstein.

The actress, who has emerged as a Hollywood voice after finding herself thrust into the center of the developing story of sexual misconduct, harassment and assault allegations against the movie mogul, took to her Instagram and Facebook accounts to relay the news of her suspension, writing cryptically that: “TWITTER HAS SUSPENDED ME. THERE ARE POWERFUL FORCES AT WORK. BE MY VOICE. #ROSEARMY.”…

Since the bombshell accusations, including multiple rape allegations, about Weinstein were reported by the New York Times and The New Yorker, McGowan has used Twitter to excoriate the disgraced producer, as well as board members of The Weinstein Company, including co-founder Bob Weinstein, along with a number of prominent actors, such as Ben Affleck and other "A-list golden boys" who she feels were aware of what was going on….

The Times first reported that McGowan reached a $100,000 settlement with Weinstein after an encounter in a hotel room at the Sundance Film Festival in 1997. McGowan did not participate in the Times exposé but quickly called on the entire TWC board to resign and for Hollywood actors and actresses to speak up. "Men in Hollywood need to change ASAP," McGowan told THR in an interview over the weekend. "

It is way past time to recognize the Internet giants as monopolies and break them up. Did we have a real Free Market system of trade they could never become oppressive monopolies in the first place.

Although I haven’t seen you her tweet, I’ve read that Rose had a little bit of a potty mouth and got the usual twelve hours in the penalty box for it. I don’t know if any person at Twitter did it or their computer did it automatically.

Despite what she said, I believe it is either Hillary or Obama calling the shots and why this has been underground for so many years.

Believe he hit on Hiilary many years ago and that they were indeed "friendly". Believe this is what Obama had on her and why the party kicked her to the curb in 2008. And she never complained.

Who did Malia work for this year?

Just pondering.

The party wants her to go home...and cook and iron and mend Bubba's socks.

You know, Rose McGowen’s problem here is that this did not occur on a college campus. Had this occurred there, Weinstein would have long ago been railroaded by the corrupt media and most certainly would have been prosecuted by the DA.

As much as I empathize with Rose McGowan ... suddenly even admiring her ... she broke the terms of service and was automatically suspended. As I understand it, she was un-suspended before she complied. So there’s no story here, other than that Twitter uses machines to suspend people automatically when they break the terms of service.

The absurd part is all the lefties astonished that she was banned but President Trump was not.

“Doesnt the rape victim need 4 male witnesses?” Only in Hollywood and Saudi Arabia.

Darn, censorship is bad when they censor someone that liberals want to hear.

Actually she was temporarily suspended for putting out someone’s phone number in a tweet which is against their rules from what I have read on the issue. From some of the tweets I have read online, since I do not tweet myself, apparently foul language is not an issue.
