Not long ago, an old friend texted me her thoughts on President Trump. She felt that he should immediately be impeached for the following reasons: he was a dictator, he colluded with Russia, that he tampered with the FBI investigation, he has practiced gross misconduct and that he is a “dumba”. Furthermore, Obama put stuff in place during his administration for the good of our country and now we are spending tax dollars undoing these things, which proves President Trump thinks it’s his country not everyone else’s. Finally she felt Trump is grossly inappropriate, short tempered, off the wall, unrealistic, unreliable, untruthful, uncouth, a big baby, racist and stupid. She felt that if only I would watch “The Real News” (ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, Headline News, MSNBC, etc.), I would know the “truth”.

When my kids were young and acting antsy and restless she would call them a “bunch of flibbertigibbits”.
you do know that not all women think like that “old friend” moron right?
His description of his friend is a perfect description, word for word, of most of my female family members, at least one of the husbands, a few of my male friends and almost all of their wives.
The only thing he missed is their "Trump is a bully!" reason they hate Trump.
If there is a way to break through their emotional investment in the media malware that they know to be so, then I don't know what it would be.
When presented with glaring examples that clearly contradict any of their "truths", they first tend to overreact with aghast and generally attack the messenger and/or the messenger's source(s).
Next, they generally will claim that the other side does it, too, but is much worse.
They will then back up this irrefutable truth by citing their accepted sources previously named by the author, which they of course trust implicitly.
I care about these people and so all of this has bothered me for a very long time, but you know what? If God is content to give them over to delusion, then so am I.
Jesus waits for us to come to our senses, so with my family and friends who know what ain't so, I guess I'll just try to be more like Jesus.

Talk is cheap.
Make a list (with footnotes) detailing factual information and legitimate sources for every accusation including the Legality of the previous Administration’s actions that you support.
One requirement. Before taking the time to make a list, read the United States Constitution, the Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence to insure you have clarity.
My mom use to use that word. Very interesting word.
When they at last shut up I ask them if that is all. If they take off again I wait them out. If they say that is all I ask them if they truly believe everything they have said is 100% accurate. If they answer yes, I then ask them why they believe it.
They have yet to give me anything besides "the man on TV said so."
I smile and say "so, back fence gossip?"
If Trump had run the same campaign with the same issues, but as a Democrat, he would be facing none of this “resistance” from the left.
I have actually used that statement to shut my liberal friends up.
Surprisingly, they don’t have much of a comeback, because their hero Bill Clinton used to say exactly what Trump says.

Live in a small town in Canada. Marriages and relationships have ended here, all on account of Trump winning.
...all on account of some people's small-minded selfishness, which they will happily blame on Trump.
