Which taboo did Miss Megyn violate that caused her abandonment by both conservative and liberal viewers? Does it even matter? Mr. Lifson points out that taboos, especially in the arena of “news” are a funny thing: “undesirability is a subjective concept, shaped by self-interest.” Megyn reported and viewers of all stripes decided.
As commenter Terrence Appleby Allston suggested, this may explain Megyn’s situation: Ezekiel 16:28 "Thou hast played the whore also with the Assyrians, because thou wast unsatiable; yea, thou hast played the harlot with them, and yet couldest not be satisfied."

Megyn does not get it. The American people have rejected pu$$y whipping as a political technique. Sexual innuendo must be relegated to a court of law where laws of evidence apply, not on the propganda fake news venues.
So Megyn has tied herself to what she supposes is a rising star of pu$$y whipping. Its not rising, its trashed.
She has shown herself to be dishonest and wrong as a journalist, and so she is done.
Megyn should move to LA and go full Hollywood: Become an Opra Cracker. That’s what she really will have to do and then gradually disappear?

The Megyn debate was the last straw. I dropped cable a couple of days later.
Remember how Trump took down Megyn and the rest of the Fox New reporters during the follow-on Republican debate with Fox News?
It was masterful. He held a beautiful veterans event — an event where you actually learned something.
And the also-rans like Cruz and Rubio and Kasich were forced to fight Fox News on their own. And a much reduced audience because Trump wasn’t there.
Think all the millions of dollars of ad revenue that Fox News lost because they were henchmen trying to take down Trump unfairly.
That’s the real legacy of M. Kelly — she kills networks.
She should join the Clinton Foundation. Slithering people like her and Comey do well in that organization.
And don’t forget her contribution to the downfall and subsequent death of her patron and veritable godfather Roger Ailes. Pure shameless treachery.

I believe it was J.D. Vance, whose book “Hillbilly Elegy” recounts the tale of how through a combination of hard work and luck he saved himself from the vicious cycle of redneck pathology. I read the book and found it interesting, although some of his personal accounts tended to strain credulity.
Boring Hillbilly? I watched the show last night— despite Megyn — because I wanted to see JD Vance. The author of Hillbilly Elegy is not a ‘rat, but a true survivor. If he decides to run for office I suspect he’d run as an “R”.
Not to mention 2 very sympathetic, friendly MSM approved content interviews of that fat F#$* Michael Moore
So too the resemblance to the Sharon Stone character.

I found HER boring. JD Vance may have an interesting story to tell but her sing-song, high school AV lesson delivery made it bad for me. I watched to see how bad or good it could get. NOT for smart-asses to make smarmy comments.

I read reviews & it sounded great, maybe called Hillbilly Elegy. The author grew up in Appalachia & went on to become a lawyer. He’s pretty young & it got great press & exposure. I am interested in reading it.
