It’s blatantly obvious Trump voters have been betrayed. I’m not blaming President Trump, I’m blaming Congress who just passed a boondoggle pork budget that goes counter to everything we voted for. It has the usual programs intact, plus several funding increases, the EPA, Planned Parenthood, Sanctuary Cities and not one cent towards The Wall. President Trump must be furious, as are we. Their excuse is "It's just part of the 2017 budget process, Trump will do 'his stuff' in the 2018 budget." I don't buy it. How many times have they kicked the can down the road before?
It’s blatantly obvious the Senators and Representatives are hired, if you will, by the lobbyists, K-Street and their donors. They seem to work for them. They’re only concern is to get re-elected, not their constituents and certainly not what’s best for America. The MSM is giddy as are the K-Street lobbyists and other deep state operatives. There are explicit restrictions to block the border wall.”
I hope Trump vetoes the bill. We shall see. It’s a real gotcha', “What you gonna do President Trump?” My take is a veto it and force a government shutdown. Isn’t that better than giving in to Congress? There's also the factor the dems see this as a victory and now what will they do? Demand more concessions! It’s what they do.
Trump understands all of this and has been the point man in the Drain the Swamp meme. The American people have to get a handle on the Axis of Evil that runs Washington D.C., namely, the donors, the lobbyists, K-Street and other special interest groups that constantly pull the strings of their particular puppet. Let’s not forget the MSM who floods the media 24/7 with propaganda promoting the Axis of Evil’s agenda.
Somewhere along the line I hope there is an EO or some other process that deals with the Axis of Evil. Their intent is globalist, socialist and eventually a communist one world government. The other reason they don’t rock the boat is a lot of the representative and senators become lobbyists when they leave ‘public service’. Greasing their connections ahead of time by going along to get along? What happened to the idealism of Mr. Smith goes to Washington? The deep state evidently is much deeper than we thought.
Obama got everything he wanted right out of the gate. His stimulus bill was written before the inauguration and passed soon after. Congress gave him everything he wanted. Anything socialist was fine. The national debt soared and last I checked we’re over 200 Trillion in unfunded liabilities. Where was the Obamacare repeal and replace bill? The Republicans had eight years to get it written and finalized. The Axis of Evil doesn’t want it changed.
We have a huge fight on our hands. Trump gets it and is doing what he can to change it. I’ve about given up calling the Congress critters, but will continue to do so.
I keep coming back to the only thing that’s really going to fix this is an Article V Convention of States to propose Amendments to help drain the swamp. Congress certainly isn't going to propose self limiting amendments.

Fight On to defeat the Washington D.C. Axis of Evil! We have taxation without representation. Is it time to water the tree of liberty again? We’ll see how President Trump handles this. Pray for him as he is David against Goliath. He needs our support, prayers and eternal vigilance.
We need a convention of the states, not to amend the Constitution but to have Nuremberg-style treason trials for the millions of traitors in D.C.

You hit the nail on the head Art. No President can set the course for a country without the Legislators to pass the policy. Article V is the only way left to back President Trump in draining the swamp.

The consequence of the American based multinational corporations, American based global banks, American based global investment banks is the same end effect as happened in Nazi Germany, state control of the means of production, in this case the budget of Congress, the biggest money machine in America. (BTW, our Tax Money, Theft of We the People to be redistributed.) If they can bribe their way to special interest control and increase their power, then we are controlled by a shadow totalitarian state. The more power they have, the larger the bloated bureaucracy will become. The more power, the worse the corruption. We therefore cease to be a functional Constitutional Republic as intended by our Founders.
This is why I dubbed them the Axis of Evil. They are no different than any totalitarian government. They must be dealt with. The Federal Reserve needs to be dealt with. The 20 Trillion in debt and 220 Trillion in unfunded liabilities need to be dealt with. They are entrenched but it we are to have a truly representative Congress again, the status quo has to change. (Along with repealing the 17th).

I'm sorry, but history tells me the answer to that question, and the answer is NO.

I guarantee, once the next rat assumes the Presidency, the Administrative state will strangle the remains of liberty.
I've read your stuff throughout the past. What I'm asking is, under an Article V convention, can you absolutely, positively guarantee that the GOP WILL NOT, under any circumstances, sell us down the river at any stage of the process?

You know, it was only a decade or so ago that a decent lobbyist could earn maybe 150-200,000 per year. Today, 2 to 5 MILLION is what the cream of the crop earn. Remember Trent Lott? (I always called him Trent NOT, because he caved to the Dems 100% of the time). Well, Lott owned a lobby firm. He sold it a few years ago to an even bigger existing firm for 12 million, plus an additional 5 million directly to Lott. This has got to be exposed, and shut down.

It's as if our government has been taken over by an evil cabal and it truly has. They have no real say in their decisions. Their staffers, who probably deal with the various donors, lobbyists on K-Street and special interest groups that walk through the door - their staffers 'gather up' all this information and tell the Congressman the 'preferred' way to vote and there you have it.
Is this the representative government we voted for?
