Started, but decided it was meant for the binge watching bank.
The UK and OZ Come Dine with Me series are a riot. Upper Middle Bogan too. As far as US shows, Castle isn’t bad (No huge homo themes).
I tried to get interested in it but I think it was a bit too surreal for my tastes. Maybe if I were younger by 20 years...
Most tv today is geared toward a certain age and demographic group. I guess I don’t fit in it.
I have noticed one thing lately and don’t know why it took so long but almost all leading and supporting actors these days have a certain shape to their face, high cheek bones with fleshy cheeks, and a kind flat sides. I think the eyes and mouth all have to be within a certain distance from each other too. I’m figuring they have been doing this for at least two decades but probably more. It’s just that they have culled this look from schools and elsewhere so now they have a huge pool of lookalike people. I’m sure the reason is they wanted a uniform look and the way the light works with this particular style of face with the angle they have. See if you can see it too if you haven’t already. Heck; maybe I’m the last to notice.
I’ve also had it with all the gay lifestyle push that has permeated all tv shows these days. Even The Walking Dead had a male gay couple in the community and just the other night we found out an unlikely lead actor is gay (in the show). Kind of a Rock Hudson type that no one would ever suspect of being gay. I think there should be a warning like with nudity so parents can be warned of deviant sexual behavior on a regular family oriented tv show and can decide if they want their kids exposed to it. Social engineering like this a really bad thing IMHO.
It was about time they finally said “Farouk”.
I remember reading this storyline in The New Mutants comic book series in the late 80s and 90s.
It will be interesting to see how they tie in Xaiver and Moira into the storyline. And where Melanie fits in. I can only see parallels as her as the White Queen and Oliver as the White King, but in this storyline they appear to be much nicer.
Its good, if it wasnt overtly obvious in my prior post.
Note to self.
Bingewatch Iron Fist on Netflix.
Looks like it’ll be good.
(Luke Gage was nice)

The same guy who is doing the Fargo tv series is also doing Legion. I think Fargo is the best show on TV and Legion isn’t far behind. He wanted a Pink Floyd feel to the show that is the girl’s name is Syd Barret, the same as the the band member that went a little Cuckoo.
Yes. I thought the first three episodes were stunningly excellent, but the last three were a muddled mess. Two more episodes like the last three and I’m going to give up.
No, I haven’t paid attention to Obama since the election.
I watched about 3.5 episodes and gave up on it.
It seemed like it might be going somewhere, but never did. Each episode was more confusing than the previous.
From comments I read in various televisionland media, many had the same impression.
Legion? As in demonically possessed by hoards of demons? Nope-
More kinks, twists and turns than a road in the Alps.
Different, that much is for sure. between that and Feud, enjoy it while it lasts.
