I tried to get interested in it but I think it was a bit too surreal for my tastes. Maybe if I were younger by 20 years...

Most tv today is geared toward a certain age and demographic group. I guess I don’t fit in it.

I have noticed one thing lately and don’t know why it took so long but almost all leading and supporting actors these days have a certain shape to their face, high cheek bones with fleshy cheeks, and a kind flat sides. I think the eyes and mouth all have to be within a certain distance from each other too. I’m figuring they have been doing this for at least two decades but probably more. It’s just that they have culled this look from schools and elsewhere so now they have a huge pool of lookalike people. I’m sure the reason is they wanted a uniform look and the way the light works with this particular style of face with the angle they have. See if you can see it too if you haven’t already. Heck; maybe I’m the last to notice.

I’ve also had it with all the gay lifestyle push that has permeated all tv shows these days. Even The Walking Dead had a male gay couple in the community and just the other night we found out an unlikely lead actor is gay (in the show). Kind of a Rock Hudson type that no one would ever suspect of being gay. I think there should be a warning like with nudity so parents can be warned of deviant sexual behavior on a regular family oriented tv show and can decide if they want their kids exposed to it. Social engineering like this a really bad thing IMHO.

Ditto here. I gave it a try because I've watched all the Marvel movies, plus I watch, and have watched Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Agent Carter, as well as all the Marvel series on Netflix. I just couldn't get into Legion.

I totally agree about the deviance factor.

Your correct with how the Hollywood stars look.....carbon copies in their faces....straight out of a plastic surgeons office.

I’ve just begun watching Netflex.....I loved Marco Polo but the sex scenes went too far for my taste....still it was outstanding acting....I was actually stunned there was such good acting as most of Hollywood younger stars today are really terrible actors...and the better ones are too demanding and not worth the expense they think they’re entitled to.

Problem with Netflex series movies are the series are so ‘engaging’ and acting so well done, and the story lines so much better it’s hard to pull away once you get into it. No wonder they call it “binge watching”!

I also watched one that had two gay guys.. almost puked when I realized where it was going so forwarded it past the moment.......didn’t add a single thing to the story line and simply was added to “condition” the public to get use to it....I won’t...it’s just entirely disgusting!

Yes, introducing gay sexual behavior in movies and tv shows is social conditioning....with the purpose of destroying families marriage as God intended. Destroy the family and you destroy a nation....and it’s people.

Well, you called it. They waited until the last episode of the season to reveal that one of the main bad guys was part of a white married gay couple with a minority kid.

And as soon as they showed that, I remarked to my wife - well, guess he’s going to be a “good guy” now. And sure enough, by show’s end, he’s helping David.

I miss the good old days, where showrunners waited two or three seasons before easing their social justice messages into otherwise successful shows.
