Legion isn’t very action-centric (yet) but the storytelling has been top-notch so far.
The MCU movies have been really good IMHO; I suspect they’ll continue to be.

Sadly too true. One wonders if they will suffer the same fate for the same reasons at some point in the not-too-distant future but in a more modern way.
I keep reading generation "Z" is going to be the most conservative generation since WWII. This might in some way cause an extreme push back of the extreme anything goes attitudes in Hollyweird today.
I've never thought of myself as prudish but also not a voyeur type person. Maybe it's voyeurs who enjoy watching what we consider a private moment (kissing) between two people while non voyeurs do not. Then the logical question is what percentage of the population are voyeuristic beyond being a simple looky-loo while driving by a traffic accident? Another good question might be what percentage of females and males are such voyeurs? Surely more females are although I suspect more males are more visually inclined hence the popularity of porn but then just the other day I read something about more females than males are viewing porn these days so what do I know?
With the over abundance of reality shows on TV, I have been driven away from watching 90% of the garbage I have to pay so much to NOT WATCH. I have never taken a tally of the number of useless TV programs or available stations I pay for but it has to be close to a hundred. I need a new hobbie!

The same guy who is doing the Fargo tv series is also doing Legion. I think Fargo is the best show on TV and Legion isn’t far behind. He wanted a Pink Floyd feel to the show that is the girl’s name is Syd Barret, the same as the the band member that went a little Cuckoo.
Yes. I thought the first three episodes were stunningly excellent, but the last three were a muddled mess. Two more episodes like the last three and I’m going to give up.

It seemed like it might be going somewhere, but never did. Each episode was more confusing than the previous.

A couple of years ago, I noticed the s*word not being bleeped out of some ‘regular’ cable TV shows. Then, it also started showing up on broadcast TV shows.
This season, I noticed the f*word being unfiltered in some ‘regular’ cable TV shows — especially on some FX and SyFy series.
How soon before ‘frigging’ and ‘fracking’ are replaced with the actual on regular broadcast TV?

Different, that much is for sure. between that and Feud, enjoy it while it lasts.
I just finished the first season of the Iron Fist and can say it is definitely worth watching if you’re into that kind of genre.
Lots of twists and turns, passable acting with decent kungfu type moves, and I look forward to watching the next season once it’s over with.
When I was younger that show called Kung Fu with David Caradine was one of my favorites. I can see this being a modern version of that for today’s 12-55 crowd and even older big kids like me. :)

I never read the the comics, but did watch the entire season of Luke Cage (not bad all things considered) and figured this would be good too.

And I agree with your commentary; I am also tired of seeing otherwise decent shows ruined by perversion.
Well, you called it. They waited until the last episode of the season to reveal that one of the main bad guys was part of a white married gay couple with a minority kid.
And as soon as they showed that, I remarked to my wife - well, guess he’s going to be a “good guy” now. And sure enough, by show’s end, he’s helping David.
I miss the good old days, where showrunners waited two or three seasons before easing their social justice messages into otherwise successful shows.
This country really does need a groundswell grassroots movement to push back on this social engineering thing they are doing with gays on TV.
Like I said before there should be some kind of notice at the beginning of the show there will be porn; which is what I consider seeing two guys/girls kissing on the TV in MY living room. Just because it’s acceptable to some people does not mean it will ever be acceptable to all people.
And once again I really don’t care what gay or other adults do in private; that’s their own business not mine. I just don’t want to see it. I think that’s a fair ask of the networks and cable tv producers. Frankly, even watching girl/boy french kissing is kinda bothersome, ‘cause I feel like I’m watching something that’s none of my business.
If I saw two hetero people kissing like that on the beach or just standing at the bus stop I wouldn’t stare or stop and watch them which is exactly what watching it on tv is without the choice except to look away or fast forward through it; which is what I do.
I worry that this makes me sound like a prude but I’m not at all. I think it’s more about decency and manners which is too quickly leaving our society and culture. It saddens me.
