After two men walked into a Texas Chicken & Burgers in Brooklyn earlier this month, one of them loudly declared that no one would give him a dollar, police sources told the New York Daily News.
With that, a man sitting in a booth near the cashier’s counter offered to help pay for their meal — but the two men didn’t like that one bit, the paper said.
One of them replied, “I’ve got money, I’ve got money” — and the man sitting in the booth was then told to “mind your f***ing business!” police sources told the Daily News.
Apparently, that wasn’t enough of a hint, so they started punching the 37-year-old man and tried grabbing his cane, police sources told the paper — but the victim swung his cane back at his attackers.
Suddenly three other men ran inside the restaurant and joined the beat down, punching and kicking the victim in his head and body.

The more I read about this incident, I conclude that the victim was mildly autistic or mentally disabled.
The average 37 y/o man does not sit around strangers proclaiming ‘I’ve got money!”. The thugs were so surprised, they probably thought the ‘helpful man’ was making fun of their empty pockets.
People need to be alert and situationally aware. It sounds like that poor man was set up.
It was one of them saying saying “I’ve got money!”, not the victim. The story doesn’t actually say what the victim said.
I never make eye contact with the Hyennas in the game reserve. I roll up the windows and keep moving.

I agree. One should always make eye contact and let the perps know you are watching them. Or I leave if if I don't like the surroundings. If they think I'm a racist M-F'er, what do I care? I also often move my hand to my pocket where I keep my pistol in case I need to make a quick-draw.
I did not mean I drop my situational awareness. My point was, dont engage the Hyenas. Dont invite an attack by talking to one of the Hyenas. Sure, scavengers only prey on the weak, but everybody is weak when they are sucker-punched from behind by a gang of Jackles.
Dont engage. The guy in this story did.
Go into a place, ask for help and beat up the white guy who offers to help. Black people don't tip well - and they damn sure don't ‘reach out’ to strangers in need. So this type of gang initiation pulls in white people who are kind and good hearted.

But black thugs often hate white people BECAUSE of their capacity for compassion and goodness... I'm not sure why...maybe they see our capacity to feel for others as the root of our superiority. Someone needs to research the 'why' on this one...
