Budget and personnel cuts reflect environmental progress and essential regulatory reforms
The Trump White House wants significant reductions at the Environmental Protection Agency: two dozen or more programs, including a dozen dealing with President Obamas climate initiatives; a 20% downsizing in EPAs 15,000-person workforce; and a one-fourth reduction in its $8.1 billion budget.
An agency that produces absolutely nothing, and instead spends 99% of its budget and time aggressively going after Americans and their property. They see themselves as gods.
America would be better without the DOEs, EPA and IRS. Also CA, MA and NY, but you can’t eliminate those.
President Trump’s plans are helping to fuel the glorious market rallies.
The downsizing should be 100%. This agency does nothing useful.
Energy, Homeland, TSA.
If an industrial accident poisons and kills a lot of people, they will call for the EPA.

Don’t forget, they ‘couldn’t’ pay the fine/clean-up on the mine disaster of THEIR creation.
Fully at fault for Flint and usurping power over ‘navigable waterways’ that can *NEVER* be navigable.
Oh, and unconstitutional. There’s always that. /s
The state environmental agency can deal with it. The EPA is outside the federal mandate.
The downsizing should be 100%.

What if that were 150%?
Would the downsizing leak over to other useless agencies located nearby?
It is a good idea to get rid of those agencies that are devastating the people.
They called the EPA and the EPA made the river turn orange...
Why? The EPA did not do it with the mine spill in CO...oh, wait.
Ironic, because saving us from Chem spills was the reason they set up the EPA in the first place.
Like most federal agencies, there is a duplicate state agency (even county in some cases)Fedgov needs to be cut down considerably except for our national defense (excluding the Pentagon which can shed quite a few military social warriors and ticket punchers)
This is an extremely important article.
cut the people, but don’t cut the budget yet...use it to fix the waterways the EPA recently wrecked
Perhaps someday I will get a pot scrubber dishwasher back?
and a washing maching with MY CHOICE of wash and rinse temperatures???
The same thing with FEMA. There's a local and a federal FEMA. Why?? MONEY
CA wants to eliminate themselves...I say go for it....
