Mark Levin, Conservative Review’s editor-in-chief, recommends the Trump administration open an investigation into Barack Obama. Levin states the former president used the government to wiretap then-candidate Trump during the 2016 election.
“The gravity of this is unparalleled. It appears that during the course of a presidential election, the Obama administration used both intelligence and law enforcement agencies to investigate the Republican nominee's campaign and certain surrogates,” Levin tells Conservative Review.
Levin – who served as chief of staff for President Reagan’s Attorney General Ed Meese – explained the potential scandal on his Thursday evening radio show:
“We have a prior administration – Barack Obama and his surrogates – who are supporting Hillary Clinton and her party, the Democratic Party. Who were using the ... intelligence activities to surveil members of the Trump campaign, and to put that information out in the public.”

“If it’s not true”...
Certainly appears that it’s got all sorts of factual evidence in just a matter of hours. Imagine what we’re going to find out Monday? I’m thinking Trump wants them to simmer in their own juices today and tomorrow. There’s a good reason this came out today instead of Monday, and I’ll figure it makes sense later.
Levin has been consistent the whole time. What I find shocking are so many Freepers willing to kick to the curb a conservative with rock solid integrity like Levin. He's a national treasure as far as I'm concerned. One of the finest defenders of liberty this country has or has ever had.
Mark suffered from TDS and he has recovered.
Unlike Democrats we eat our own unless we totally agree on everything all the time.
Levin seems to have come around, but my point was the damage for me (a long time listener and purchaser of his books) was the demoralizing tirades about Trump during the campaign.
I turned him off.
I caught a bit of his show the other night driving home late from work and he seems to have come around a bit, but my forgiveness meter is not yet working. I listen to radio shows and media because I enjoy them - not because I have too.
Take a look at post 32. That is an example of why he is trashing this site. He used to post here regularly. He did not leave FreeRepublic, FreeRepublic left him.

Now, wasn't Mark Levin a 'never-Trumper' who criticized Trump during the campaign?

Mark is a CONSISTENT defender of liberty. He knows that tariffs are taxes supported by an irrational nationalist fervor and he's not backed off an inch over that. Free trade is FREEDOM, and given all the great things I've seen Trump do his anti trade position is one of the few things that worries me about him.
Amazingly, what we know is that Obama used a fake Russia connection that his own democrats created.
He took it to a FISA court for legality in “wiretapping”. They turned him down.
They rewrote their request and FISA actually authorized listening based on a fake story.
They found NOTHING.
But they kept taping and listening.
Then they changed the rules so that anyone in all of government with any kind of security access could share kind of this info.
I believe I’ve read that they had it at such a low classification level that it went everywhere.
The above is KNOWN.
And all the media can talk about is that there is no evidence.
They know that some judge let democrats wiretap the republican candidate and they call that “no evidence”.
You don’t use Fisa on foreign bank dealings!!!— Fisa is national security intelligent only tool!! It is not criminal — it is to find enemies of this country— Not Political enemies. This demands swift grand jury action!!
They could tap Trump’s phones, but they couldn’t shut down all of us in flyover country and talking on FR. Even if they were monitoring all of us, they don’t have enough manpower to listen to every conversation, read every email, or do anything to stop us.
This not only makes me angry, but makes me scared. There is a Civil War going on right now between the Shadow Government and the American People.
Trump needs to unload every weapon at his disposal to dismantle the Shadow Government. He needs to start by firing every single person in the NSA, CIA and the Pentagon who was hired during the Obama Administration.
Just send them packing. If you have to keep paying them for doing nothing because of some government contract, that’s fine. Just get them the hell out of the government.
If you control the phone lines you can tap the line from any location. No need to physically place a bug at that location.
Who specifically conducted the electronic surveillance?
Levin is not in the admin....he cannot order nor conduct an investigation by the FBI
