Sears/K-Mart are de facto already gone.
Bye Sears!
Bye, Kmart!
Sears and Kmart had to rush to alert the media on this because otherwise nobody would have ever noticed since nobody shops there anymore.
I almost feel sorry for Sears and Kmart.
Kmart caters to Hispanics and nobody shops in Sears anymore. Story is a nothingburger.
Do board of directors and shareholders not notice these suicidal actions?
Yikes, over the cliff...
I do my shopping at S-Mart anyway.
Now there’s a brilliant business strategy. You’re in a death spiral so go out and insult roughly half of your potential customers. Very clever.
I would be afraid to give Sears/K-Mart a line of credit so no big loss.
Just lost a customer.
Back in the early 1980s I purchased some stick deodorant at a Kmart. I attempted to return it to Kmart with receipt indicating that the rotary plastic device that extends the deodorant from its dispenser was broken rendering the deodorant unusable. It probably cost less than $1.50 back then. To my amazement the cashier refused. I left it there on the counter and told her I’d never be back. I haven’t been back to Kmart in almost 40 years and I can’t help but think that’s one of many reasons that so many Kmarts have disappeared during that period of time. I feel sorry for the employees that have to pay the consequences for such foolish management.
They’ve had their day....
Corporate suicide. Cut off their nose to spite their face. Dumber than cow pies! A company hdqtrd in York, PA, Bon-Ton, with Stores in PA & NY announced they’re keeping the Trump Line. Smart.
Back in 2004 I bought a saw at Sears. I haven’t purchased anything from them since. I haven’t been in a K-Mart since the late 1990s.
The sad part about it is that it hurts the local merchant who in your smaller town usually is conservative.
Our country has been a sitting powder keg ready to be ignited for some time. Keep praying everyone for God to continue intervening in this mess.
Next thing you know, Radio Shack is going to stop selling any Trump Earbuds, if they ever go on the market.
Meh... Two dying companies, trying to appeal to the leftoid, hair-on-fire, crybullies.
They’ve chosen badly.
A friend mentioned they merged when they both faced bankruptcy. Apparently Martha Stewart couldn’t keep KMart afloat. Buh bye.
