He had a great voice as a younger man.
RIP
I really liked his voice. Sad to see him go so young.
Too bad. Part of the soundtrack of my fun, young years in NYC. Loved most, not all of his music.
On of my all-time favorite videos was “Freedom”, with all the supermodels of the time in it.
RIP.
He certainly had white teeth.
Another of their songs was “Freedom”
Here is the official video from 1985, when they played in Red China. Showed the clash of two cultures.

The change in China from then to now is unbelievable.
In only 30 years.
Made some good music in the ‘80s. “Careless Whisper”, the Wham stuff - part of the soundtrack of my teens and twenties. RIP.
Sad. RIP.
That wasn’t the only time the tabloids caught him “cottaging”.
“Freedom” was a really catchy tune.
There seems to be a policy in the UK (at least) to NOT publish cause of death if related to homosexuality.
Can we please bury all his Christmas songs with him? Chalkboard.
***He certainly had white teeth***
Enhanced by the use of black lighting, but yes they were very white.
IMHO, he’s monogamist. Therein lies the ‘space’ certain conservatives have ‘understanding’ of their life choices.
Not only was the video eye-catching but it was one of the most honest "I'm coming out gay" songs ever done. Included was the chorus:
All we have to do now is take these lies and make them true somehow..."
which was really him saying that "coming out is going to kill my popularity in some of the audience areas I've cultivated but I can't hide this anymore. You'll just have to accept that."
I respected his craft even if I didn't always like his viewpoint.
There's always something just a little askew when you find out that incredibly handsome men (Rock Hudson, Tab Hunter, etc.) women were agog about had no interest in women except to disguise their homosexuality. Something oddly cruel about that.
Watching the unsaved world grapple with the death of the famous is a predictably sad ritual.
Ironically his version of “Somebody to Love” at the Freddie Mercury Tribute concert was one of that show’s highlights. But it appears ultimately he shared Freddie’s fate.
But this guy looked like a homosexual, whereas Hudson did not. This old lady still finds it hard to believe when I see an old clip of Hudson.
From what my mother told me, Rock Hudson in private was much more swishy than his onscreen persona would have suggested. Guess that’s why they call it, “acting.”
That suggests to me that he knew the end was near.
