I'm just curious about what songs at Christmas time make you change the station or jump the track on that cd.

In the spirit of Christmas, here’s a USAF Flash Mob at the Smithsonian; enjoy:

Makes you feel guilty about celebrating Christmas.....this from the guy who drove around NYC in a Rolls Royce. Imagine no possessions indeed.....for you! He can have all he wants.
I gotta admit I like that song.
The Italian Christmas Donkey.
I first heard it a couple of weeks ago in a store. It was in my head all day.
Last Christmas - Wham! (Triple Gay!)
All I Want For Christmas is You - Mariah Carey
He's Puerto Rican, but your point is well-taken.
ELP's "Father Christmas" is a nice tune but the lyrics are cynical.
“Rockin’ around the Christmas tree.”
Aaaarrrggghhh! Brenda Lee sounds like her nose is packed with phlegm.
More of a downer than ‘Christmas at Ground Zero’?
Holly Jolly Christmas by Burl Ives.
Hillary?
O HOLY NIGHT
SORRY.MISREAD THE WORD LEAST FAVORITE.
I think I might have liked him if “O Tannebaum” had not been the first thing I ever heard from him. His voice was good, but his delivery was very affected. I suppose that really is a matter of personal taste. Now that you mention it, “The Christmas Song” is another Christmas song that I find rather annoying, no matter who sings it. Maybe I need to listen to some of his standards to make a more informed judgment.
Some singers just grate on people. It’s really just a personal thing, as you said. I’ve never cared for certain singers that people give high praise to. Never cared for Perry Como. He just sounds so smooth, but sort of empty to me.
Bob Seger did a great “Little Drummer Boy”, but it is indeed a difficult song. I sat about 20 feet from Seger when he sang it at a concert I went to back in 2011.
I really hate Felice Navidad by Jose Feliciano - always struck me as whiney
_____________
I have always hated that song. Always!
jj, just heard Weird Al croon that one for the very first time. I thought it was funny and I’ll give the tune A 5 outta 10. Yes, This Is Christmas is still a sad piece of work even when covered by Celine Dion.
