That title isn’t joking. This post is aimed at my liberal readers. I’m a libertarian leaning Republican and gun expert, who thinks you are wrong about a lot of stuff, but I’m not writing this to gloat about your loss. For the record, I disliked all the presidential candidates.
Judging by your social media over the last few days many liberals have been utterly terrified that your government might turn tyrannical or that evil people will now be emboldened to hurt you. I’m going to let you in on a little thing the other half of the country is familiar with to keep those unlikely, yet catastrophic, events from happening.
And that my lefty friends, is 2nd Amendment.

I was at the gun range today for my weekly shoot and saw a young couple that look liked Hillary voters. Looked liked the urban hipster type with the girl having shorter hair than the guy. I just dismissed the thought as I was just stereotyping based on looks.
The range was busier than normal today too. Are liberals going to start buying guns and hoarding ammo now? I was hoping for price drops if Trump got elected.

Yeah, but when the revolution eventually happens, it will be a lot more honorable, sporting and competitive to shoot liberals when they can at least TRY to shoot back :).
Way back when, I went to a doctor who always (albeit gently) chided my invariable waiting-room preference for gun-related books.
Then some major disaster happened.
He asked what gun to get. I smiled, and recommended a Mossberg 590.
Seems it’s always some variant of the “liberal got mugged” motivator.
That’s what I was thinking thru the article, and the other article that referred to.
I _really_ want to put such content before the local school board, but no way they’re going to read several dozen pages of to-them reprehensible content short of me _paying_ them a substantial sum to.
Thing is, once you distill a subject down to an insightful pithy quote, you’ve shaved off so much supporting material that it’s meaningless to the ignorant.
That is very true. FWIW my intent was only to knock liberals for their lack of intellectualism not the content or structure of the article.
It’s actually a very good article for someone who wasn’t raised with guns, is a bit on the fence about whether to get one and has a sense of humor about themselves.
My vegetarian (not vegan) son and DIL served me some of that stuff. It really wasn't bad, since it was nicely seasoned. But then, I wasn't "unsuspecting"!
