Please advise. How all of a sudden this became a big issue again? I mean, this issue literally came out of nowhere. In fact, I didn't hear anything about it until Trump's press conference today.
Was it another Clinton distraction, that ended up failing miserably?
Blame the press:
Washington Post reporter asked Trump if he was prepared to put the birther issue to bed (since Trump was said to have led the Birther issue in 2008).
Trump responded not at this time ... because he had already planned to do so in his speech the next day.
Washington Post then ran a headline that Trump refuses to admit that Obama was born in the US
Clinton campaign then jumped on it.
Can’t talk about Hillary’s health so some new topic was needed.
Here are two simple questions that most Americans still won't be able to answer, even at this ridiculously late date:
Why didn't Obama release his long form birth certificate in 2007? Why did he wait until 2011, despite polls showing that up to 40% of the American public had doubts that he was born an American citizen?
Why did Obama permit the court martial of Dr. Terrence Lakin? Why did Obama decline to release his long form birth certificate when Lakin's lawyers requested it?
“I say he gets close to 25 percent”
Well, Trump already has this black man’s vote, but I’m a lousy Freeper troll anyway, so I don’t count ;-)

Then there is the Fast and Furious deal; the Iran ‘ransom’ payments; the ‘line drawn in the sand’ with Assad; and how many other countless things he has done WITHOUT the approval of Congress, not that they have had the balls and spine to stand up and stop him...noticing yesterday that they won't even impeach the head of the IRS and all their scandals...

Trump used the Birther issue to pull a trick on the pro-Clinton media, and it worked splendidly. And on top of that, the friendly reception he got on his visit to Little Haiti shows that the black voters aren’t all going to blindly cast ballots for the Democratic candidate this time.
Trump is apparently doing better in polls with blacks than the Rats had hoped, and they are in a panic, and recycling old outrages that they think will motivate people to vote Rat.

I am elderly and even at my advanced age there are still highly credible living witnesses who would testify that they visited my mother and me both in the hospital and at home.

Clinton campaign contacts Washington Post - requests the birther issue to be brought up with Trump.
There are x number of column inches and x number of broadcast hours each week. When you want a story to NOT be covered (Hillary’s Health) you bring out a juicy story to push it out of the spotlight.
Agree, probably a controlled detonation. This began last week when O'Reilly asked Trump if the birther thing would hurt him with his courtship of AA voters.
At a bar last night with CNN on in my face....for the short time we were there is was “Trump admits Obama was born in the USA” “Trump says Obama was born in the USA..and the Wookster with her Whitey wig on campaigning for the hag....Who the F wants to look at that... we split....I was flipping the bird to the TV it sucked so much!!!
Frim what I see on FB youtube et al it seems that all minority groups are seeing through it. Nothing coulr make me happier. We are all going to sh!t is this woman is elected. Maybe the cycle has been broken and inner cities can be given a fresh start
Now that Hillary has been shown to be a “NO-SALE” versus Trump, they are trying Obama v Trump instead.

Donald Trump was respected and admired by Americans of every stripe, decades before he ran for office. He’s still the same man he’s always been, and this proofs him against unfair characterizations from the left.
That deep familiarity with the voting public works to Trump’s advantage. The same familiarity with the voting public works against Hillary Clinton. After 30 years on the national stage, she doesn’t have a single concrete accomplishment to her name, whereas Trump is well known for actually making things happen in the real world.
Many minority voters clearly see that stark contrast, and will vote accordingly — especially seeing that Hillary represents a continuation of the failed policies that have brought us to where we are today.
Like you, I’m hoping that Trump finally breaks the Democrats’ monolithic lock on the black vote, once and for all.

It makes Trumo look bad. At this point it’s irrelevant. O has 4ish months left. No knees impeaching him now.
Trump should say to any interviewer who presses it. “it doesn’t matter what I believe about an irrelevant topic. We have plenty of topics we can talk about that are relevant or we can end the interview now, your choice”
