Hillary’s having a rough week. Not only are Trump’s poll numbers climbing, the DNC email leak is overshadowing her convention and now she’s going to have to deal with another investigation. This time it’s the IRS that’s digging into the Clinton’s affairs, by way of their shady slush fund charitable foundation.
As the Daily Caller reports in an exclusive:
A quick white wash and to prejudice trump from going after her later.
Did she really think she was just going to be handed the keys to the White House? This is not 1988 and Bath House Barry is not Reagan leaving his “shining city on the hill.”

“We cannot comment on the subject of an ongoing review”
to
“It has been determined that the Clinton Foundation has fully complied with all tax rules, regulations and laws and the investigation is now closed.”
They’ll search like a bloodhound with no sight or smell.

I hate to burst your bubble but at best it will be nothing but a WHITEWASH so that Madam Benghazi can cackle and claim that "she's been investigated and no irregularities were found."
The real benefit here is twofold 1) Trump will be able to point to it until November and 2) AG Christie will be able to pick it up in January.

An IRS investigation of the Clinton Foundation.
Based on 25 years of past Clinton scandal history, by now we all know what that means.
From now until the end of the “investigation”, and definitely until after the November Elections, any questions to the IRS regarding the Clinton Foundation will be met with the following canned answer , “ I’m sorry, but we are unable to comment at this time due the existence of on going investigation” and all FOIA requests will denied for similar reasons.
The IRS spokes person will then refer reporters to direct any specific questions regarding the Clinton Foundation directly to the Clinton Foundation's spokesperson
The Clinton Campaign will if course call the investigation a politically motivated witch hunt by the vast right wing conspiracy that hates strong women and wants to prevent Hillary from breaking through the glass ceiling so she can do all sorts of really, really wonderful things, all for the children, of course.
They will also try to somehow deflect the blame blame Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin
For their part, the Clinton campaign and the Clinton Foundation spokesman and of course Bill, Hillary and Chelsea themselves cannot take questions or comment on any specifics regarding Clinton Foundation corruption due to the existence of an unjustified and illegitimate ongoing IRS investigation and will refer the reporter to the IRS to ask any question regarding the investigation ( see above). Until such time as the investigation is closed, they will keep on doing the peoples business and will be too busy addressing the real issues facing the American people to comment.
It’s the same old Clinton scandal cover up shuck and jive we have been treated to for the last 25 years.
The Clinton’s have this signature scandal management play from their damage control playbook copyrighted.
The Beast will be squeaky clean before November! Goddamn but our government is a huge corrupt sewer.
Obama’s IRS will find nothing wrong with the Clinton Foundation; Loretta Lynch guarantees it!
I’m sure the IRS will learn from the FBI’s mistake and not say, “she’s obviously guilty, she’s been consistently lying to you, but we’re not going to prosecute because we are scared of her”.
I guess Lerner and Koskinen worked for Obama after all

This is a deflector shield set up so that Hillary can decline to answer any questions - “There’s an ongoing investigation. It would be inappropriate for me to comment.”
If she wins, this investigation vanishes.
If Trump wins, the work product of this investigation will be found to be vanishingly small.

The request to investigate the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation on charges of “public corruption” was made in a July 15 letter by 64 House Republicans to the IRS, FBI and Federal Trade Commission (FTC). They charged the foundation is “lawless.”
The initiative is being led by Rep. Marsha Blackburn, a Tennessee Republican who serves as the vice chairwoman of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, which oversees FTC. The FTC regulates public charities alongside the IRS.
The lawmakers charged the Clinton Foundation is a “lawless ‘pay-to-play’ enterprise that has been operating under a cloak of philanthropy for years and should be investigated.”
Koskinen’s July 22 reply came only a week after the House Republicans contacted the tax agency. It arrived to their offices Monday, the first opening day of the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia.
“We have forwarded the information you have submitted to our Exempt Organizations Program in Dallas,” Koskinen told the Republicans... the same division that was led by former IRS official Lois Lerner....
House Republicans singled out Laureate Education and Uranium One as two companies that seemed to have paid lavish sums to the Clintons and later received official government benefits.

Don’t you mean “The FBI just started going through the motions necessary to eventually clear the Clinton Foundation of any wrong doings so people will STFU about it already”? Really I can’t believe people still think these investigations mean anything.
Interesting. IRS would not do this without an OK, at least, from the Sultan or the Grand Vizier.
Or maybe the point is to “clear” the Clintons and make a big noise about them being “clean” before the election.
Obama may indict her if it is clear that she will lose horribly.
