Based on 25 years of past Clinton scandal history, by now we all know what that means.
From now until the end of the “investigation”, and definitely until after the November Elections, any questions to the IRS regarding the Clinton Foundation will be met with the following canned answer , “ I’m sorry, but we are unable to comment at this time due the existence of on going investigation” and all FOIA requests will denied for similar reasons.
The IRS spokes person will then refer reporters to direct any specific questions regarding the Clinton Foundation directly to the Clinton Foundation's spokesperson
The Clinton Campaign will if course call the investigation a politically motivated witch hunt by the vast right wing conspiracy that hates strong women and wants to prevent Hillary from breaking through the glass ceiling so she can do all sorts of really, really wonderful things, all for the children, of course.
They will also try to somehow deflect the blame blame Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin
For their part, the Clinton campaign and the Clinton Foundation spokesman and of course Bill, Hillary and Chelsea themselves cannot take questions or comment on any specifics regarding Clinton Foundation corruption due to the existence of an unjustified and illegitimate ongoing IRS investigation and will refer the reporter to the IRS to ask any question regarding the investigation ( see above). Until such time as the investigation is closed, they will keep on doing the peoples business and will be too busy addressing the real issues facing the American people to comment.
It’s the same old Clinton scandal cover up shuck and jive we have been treated to for the last 25 years.
