This hunter makes a last minute shot to save his life in this heart-pounding lion encounter video.
When you mess with the King of the Beasts, you should expect dangera lot of danger.
In the video, a team of South African lion hunters have shot and wounded a male lion, but it disappears from their sight. What they dont realize is that the lion is circling them, looking to counterattack, see the video here.
Since it is Cal Sportsman I fully expect the hunter to stab the lion in the neck with a Kabar and then gloat over the dead body.
Wow! I would think that guy would have soiled himself.
Thanks,I’ll volunteer to stay in camp and make sandwiches.
That lion looked around and said, “Oh, no, you didn’t just shoot at ME!”
I thought this was a #BLM thread.
Cape Buffalo on the other hand...
Sorry, but if you hunt Lions you’re a complete doosh. I’ve killed dozens of deer and rabbits, a few raccoons, etc. All were eaten by me and my family. The dogs got most of the raccoon meat. But sport hunting lions? That’s for assholes.
This happened to a friend of mine some years ago
He had been asked to kill this lion which is taking several children in an African village and it attacked him taking his skin off from the hairline back to his neck .
who killed the lion but had to be flown to Atlanta for reconstructive surgery and the surgeon was incredible. You can’t even tell that he had been attacked
Cape buffalo is the jerk of the animal kingdom.
Lions...usually, if you leave them alone they will let you alone. Usually.
Sport hunting anything living is for a$$holes.
If its for food thats one thing. If to get your rocks off, that’s a$$hole right there.
Why? Care to enlighten the rest of us?
Or self defense. But that means you never had the desire to do it just for kicks.
Harrasing livestock, if you mean by killing them, it falls under self defense.
I'll volunteer to drive into town to buy you the groceries.....
Uh...you go first...
“Oh no, YOU carry the damn camera...!”
The hunting in Africa feeds hundreds of thousands, provides a revenue for schools, medical needs in tribal area’s. Some area’s income from hunting is used to drill water wells providing safe drinking water for whole tribes. I have two friends over Zambia right now who provide for most of the medical needs for two different tribes with all of it taken care of by local outfitters. This is their third year there.
Considering how man people Hippos and Crocs kill, it's safe in more ways than one.
