Speaking before a crowd Wednesday in Atlanta, Georgia, businessman Herman Cain made remarks about GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump that might have left some in the mainstream media bewildered.
Cain said that liberals have blurred issues in this presidential election because they want to label Trump as something that he is not. He said there are a lot of lies out there about Trump, and he wanted to set the record straight about one of the biggest of those lies, which was that Trump is a racist.
I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. I know what a racist looks like when I see one, and Donald Trump is not a racist, Cain said, according to The Hill.
Its one of the few things progressives have left to throw at Trump, but if polls are any indication, not many people are buying the notion that Trump is racist.
Which is why being racist is an accusation that the left needs to constantly repeat. They need uninformed voters to believe that Trump is racist to get Hillary Clinton in the White House.
Cain is a mensch.
Worded that way deliberately.
If all you were able to catch on your way by was “Herman Cain-—Trump Remarks-—I Know What A Racist Looks Like”.
See the difference; a quick glance at the headline, without a complete read gives you an entirely different message.
The words that are meant to jump out at you are; Herman Cain (a black past presidential candidate), Donald Trump (a white current presidential candidate), “I Know What A Racist Looks Like”, a statement of fact.
Pretty simple technique actually.
Works just about all the time on the low info and the stupid.
Let that person who is without sin cast the first stone.
I for one am not looking for perfection in a current or future political leader; I just want someone who will put the Constitution first, last, and always.
Hypocrisy in my opinion is the multitude of small sins we all commit every day, and shrug off as not that important.
Human beings make mistakes, people are not perfect; all that we can hope for is that our leaders at least try not to commit the same sin or mistake over and over.
Unlike most Lib/Prog/Dem/Transi/Politicians who actively seek out their next sin/error to commit over and over again.
Here in North Florida, I get Herman Cain’s radio show from 9am to noon, and then Rush at noon. I never caught Herman’s radio show in Seattle area. Actually, Herman is more interesting to listen to than Rush.
Very well said.
So many cookie-cutter conservatives fail to see that Trump has functionally been vetted for decades.
