New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio on Tuesday encouraged his constituents not to eat at a new Chick-fil-A restaurant opening in the city, citing the company’s pro-traditional marriage views.
“What the ownership of Chick-fil-A has said is wrong,” Mr. de Blasio said at a press conference, as reported by DNA Info.
“I’m certainly not going to patronize them, and I wouldn’t urge any other New Yorker to patronize them,” he said, adding that “they do have a legal right.”
Mr. de Blasio’s comments came after city Councilman Danny Dromm started a boycott for a new Chick-fil-A location opening in Queens.
“Chick-fil-A is anti-LGBT,” Mr. Dromm said in a statement....

Is it just me, or does it seem that an awful lot of liberal words and actions recently have had a backfire component, a whiplash effect, completely negating their intentions?

At one of the original Chick Fil A restaurants in Newnan, Ga., called the Dwarf House, they have fried peach pies, fried apple pies and fried sweet potato pies which are the best things you will ever eat! They also have sit down seating at the back of the restaurant with waitresses.

The issue for me is that this is a blatant LIE and Wilhelm continues the lie and seeks to harm a legitimate business.
...but then I expect that CFA knew what to expect when they decided to open in CommieLand and were prepared for this. They will not do it but I wish that CFA would sue Wilhelm and NYC.

Salads, my only “beef”...they replaced the wonderful Cole slaw with some kale concoction. Awful. By far my fav fast food restaurant. One of the few things I don’t put a condiment on. A plain chicken sandwich with the dill pickles is amazing. Now I order 2 and skip the salad.

imagine it were the 1950’s, when some of us were growing up, and the mayor of our town told people they shouldn’t eat at a new restaurant, because the people who owned the joint (living thousands of miles away) once made public that they believed marriage should be between a man and a woman...
I think the mayor would have ridden the rail to the neighboring state...and anyone who didn’t help run him out would go with him...

My grandson works at a Chik-Fil-A and it is the best thing that has happened to him.The staff at these places are worth th trip and try their strawberry shake.Makes me happy.
Wait until they have peach milkshakes in the summer!!!!!
