New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio on Tuesday encouraged his constituents not to eat at a new Chick-fil-A restaurant opening in the city, citing the companys pro-traditional marriage views.
What the ownership of Chick-fil-A has said is wrong, Mr. de Blasio said at a press conference, as reported by DNA Info.
Im certainly not going to patronize them, and I wouldnt urge any other New Yorker to patronize them, he said, adding that they do have a legal right.
Mr. de Blasios comments came after city Councilman Danny Dromm started a boycott for a new Chick-fil-A location opening in Queens.
Chick-fil-A is anti-LGBT, Mr. Dromm said in a statement....

I suspect Danny Dromm is a NAMBLA member and mostly wants to consume young boys.
The chicken strips are amazing.
Check out their salads too. Hmm-hmm!
I want to know who in their right mind would vote for this puke, and why.
This wad transcends simple political lines.
He is advocating the Boycott of Muslim owned Businesses?
They don’t just disagree with the Gay Agenda, they execute Gays in their Home Countries.
All things are moral; and in their boundless changes have an unceasing reference to spiritual nature. Therefore is nature glorious with form, color, and motion, that every globe in the remotest heaven; every chemical change from the rudest crystal up to the laws of life; every change of vegetation from the first principle of growth in the eye of a leaf, to the tropical forest and antediluvian coal-mine; every animal function from the sponge up to Hercules, shall hint or thunder to man the laws of right and wrong, and echo the Ten Commandments. --Ralph Waldo Emerson, Nature
De Blasio has been too long cut off from nature in the artificial environment of the big city. He is isolated from the circle of life that The Creator has designed for his glory--not man's. Once a man attempts to become the center of the circle, to contain it, to modify it and to make it fit for his glory, he has changed the natural order which brings extinction to those he affects and, ultimately, to himself.
Persecuting those who promote the union of a man and a woman--the natureal order--are persecuting those who use their freedoms to reinforce the natural order given life by natural law.
Haven’t gone downtown in years. I will be down there the end of June and I’ll make it my business to go to Chic Fila. I am sick of the mayor telling us citizens where and what to do. Same with the Govenor telling who should live here and who shouldn’t. I’ll be leaving NYC very soon to move to NC. Good Riddance.
The employees in Cick-fil-A are the most respectful, helpful and cheerful of any employees I have seen for a long long time. I am sure the sunshine they display is something the Left hates as much as Count Dracula hates the image of the cross.
“Bill de Blasio tells New Yorkers not to eat at anti-LGBT Chick-fil-A”
Ah, crap. I guess this means i gotta go eat at chick-fil-again tomorrow. and the worse part is i won’t be able to pass up the waffle fries, what with me being on low carb and all.
Still, gotta take one for the team, right?
Chick Fil-A’s response should be:
“We welcome all customers and do not ask them to disclose their sexual identities just to buy a sandwich from us. However, if Mayor DiBlasio wishes to come by and sample one of our delicious sandwiches, we promise we will have one waiting for him free of charge...with extra salt.”
Surprisingly enough our local Chick fil a ALWAYS has a drive thru line wrapping around three sides of the building. So much so that handicapped parking usually requires a bit of a wait.
That’s not just hyperbole, either. As I have a seven-year-old who spends literally hours in their play area, it’s not unusual for us to eat dinner there three days in a row.
Their grilled nuggets are the best non-fried chicken I’ve ever put in my mouth.
I prefer them plain as the dipping sauces only smother the flavor.
Buy stock quick!
Woe to those who call evil good and good evil!
I remember the late Mayor Mumbles Menino of Boston talked about banning Chik-fil-a from Boston. I sent him a piece of my mind in an email, and lo and behold, he issued a retraction the next day. Hopefully there were a lot of similar messages.
It’s not in my diet, but I will eat lunch there on Friday now!
There’s always a long line at that location. They must be doing great!
