Well, now that Trump is the nominee it is now time to strop burying the hatchet into each others backs and bury the damned thing out in the back 40.
I have always been for Cruz, but to ignore that Trump won the nomination is denying reality. I am glad that Cruz bowed out now instead of dragging us all to convention where the fractures to in Republican party may have developed into full blown fissures and caused our best hope against Hillary to crumble to dust.
I wish Ted the best and hope he continues his hard work in the Senate that many of us here are so proud of and continues to take the hard stands for the people he represents in Texas.
I also wish Donald the best in battling the Liberal media deluge that is about to unleashed upon him. He is about to be hit with BOTH barrels from a liberal media that has been diving it's attention between him and Ted.
I also hope and pray that should the Donald slay the hildebeast that he not fall into the trap that seems to afflict so many people that go to DC and ignore all the promises he made to us all here. Let's pray that that his promise to make "America Great Again" and to do so by securing our borders and to not play second fiddle to other countries becomes a reality.
I will reach out and support Trump and I as a Cruz supporter, I only ask those of you who have so far supported Donald Trump to hold Donald to promises he made all of us. Because this election may very well be our last chance and if it is blown then we can all kiss our freedoms and precious country goodbye.
Amen - lots of sour grapes out there and it will not be helpful to keeping Hillary out of the WH (The People’s House).....
Thank-you and God Bless for posting the thread.
Reminds me of back in the 1980's when the Celtics (at home) were losing to the 76ers in the NBA Eastern Conference Championship - in the final minutes the whole Boston Garden erupted into a "BEAT LA" chant.
Donald - "BEAT LA"!
I make a terrible cult member. I ask too many questions.
But you're always so cheerful about it....
We may come to regret that decision by Cruz, not because there is something wrong with Trump (I voted for him 8 days ago) but because now there is only one active opponent to Trump. Kasich is among the worst options of the original 17, and he is now the establishment's only hope.
We might well have been better off if Trump and Cruz had privately called a truce and gone back to their old friendly rivals relationship, which would have kept the opposition divided in their strategy.
You would definitely get it with a Hillary Rotten Clinton Presidency
It was the self-righteousness, the sexual purity, the moral and intellectual superiority that did it for me. Shaking the dust off my feet from some of these HTT's (holier-than-thous).
Well, I appreciate you trying.
Thanks for it.
And Reagan cheated on his wife. This is so much crap.
