There were several events yesterday that suggest to me the winds have shifted in Ted Cruz’s favor since he named Carly Fiorina his running mate.
First, John Boehner had a complete and utter meltdown about Ted Cruz yesterday. He referred to Cruz as both an S.O.B. and Lucifer. Then Peter King, the noxious congressman from New York, came out and declared Cruz worse than the devil. He was followed up by former senator Judd Gregg who declared he would rather Trump than Cruz, even though he is a Kasich guy.
The fact that . In fact, more polling out of Indiana suggests just that. Cruz had been behind and the latest polling has the race tied.

i like Eric Ericsson, but I wouldn’t say that his Trump predictions, to date, have been overwhelmingly accurate. More like wishful thinking, actually.
So everyone is deluded and lying except for you and Cruz? Doesn’t matter to you that Neil Bush according to the Cruz campaign, Jeb and George W.’s younger brother, has signed on as member of its national finance team or that Cruz chose Carly (WOMAN CARD/RINO) as his running mate?

What Eric is forgetting is that Christians need to put their faith in Jesus Christ ALONE, not in a man. And be ready to rethink the situation if the man who you thought was following Christ becomes obviously a liar, then to not consider yourself untrue to the “cross” for adjusting your support.

I really liked Cruz, I thought that I could finally be behind someone who thought like me, but, he does not. I do not like liars. I am not a person who believes that the end justifies the means, I think Ted Cruz is dumping morality in the effort to win.
There is a lot to like about Cruz but he has hidden it very effectively the last couple of months and showed that he will do anything to get elected, I understand it but don’t like it.
I was not a Trump supporter, I have not sent him any money like I did Cruz but I have seen the handwriting on the wall, Trump will be the nominee and I appreciate the fact that he appears to be open and honest. He speaks openly about his mistakes, he speaks openly about those things about him that I really dislike, BUT, he puts his goals up in an order that somewhat conforms to what I want. 1st, close the borders, 2nd get rid of the illegals, 3rd fix business taxes, 4th stop supporting the rest of the world. After that I’m perhaps not quite so much in agreement with him. If he does even a couple of the first 4 things on his list he will have been a great president.
People don’t understand that there is really no such thing as a business tax, people who buy goods and services from business pay the business tax in the form of higher prices, and what that does is price us out of the global market and force companies to go over seas for profitability. Our progressive belief in supplying bread and circuses by taxing business have caused us to send our manufacturing out of the country, we did it to ourselves. Only a business man would really understand how bad business taxes hurt the US economy, Trump is a business man.
No, no, this weekend is reserved for announcement of the Cruz Presidential Library location, rumored to being planned near Alberta....no confirmation yet...

If someone went into a coma a year ago and just woke up, they would be astounded by what is posted on this forum.
All the Tea Party/Conservative standard bearers, politicians, talk radio hosts, and media spokesmen are now bemoaned as “part of the GOPe establishment”. The hype against long time standard bearers has become louder and louder, so as to create a fog of uncertainty among voters.
Those who stood against the overwhelming tide of the socialist agenda, are now liars, lackeys, and puppets to the establishment.
It is a strange and twisted world that we find ourselves confronting. The Democrats are committed to a full onslaught against our Constitution and Republic, as reflected in their two candidates and Promise them anything campaign.
We find ourselves looking to a candidate who has stood by liberals in the past, contributed to them, and espouses their stands on social issues. We are faced with Hope and Change again, but all because the Republican Party is now the enemy.
Actually, as one of many of Boehner's attorneys, Cruz only did paperwork. He never met Boehner in that capacity. Get your facts straight before you hop on the "Lyin' Ted! Lyin' Ted" Tourette's train.
Man, every time I think I could really get behind Trump, I read a post from some neo-Rolf and I have to rethink it.
