The Winds Appear to Have Shifted In Ted Cruz’s Favor
The Resurgent ^ | April 29, 2016 | Erick Erickson

Posted on 04/29/2016 4:32:28 AM PDT by detective

There were several events yesterday that suggest to me the winds have shifted in Ted Cruz’s favor since he named Carly Fiorina his running mate.

First, John Boehner had a complete and utter meltdown about Ted Cruz yesterday. He referred to Cruz as both an S.O.B. and Lucifer. Then Peter King, the noxious congressman from New York, came out and declared Cruz worse than the devil. He was followed up by former senator Judd Gregg who declared he would rather Trump than Cruz, even though he is a Kasich guy.

The fact that . In fact, more polling out of Indiana suggests just that. Cruz had been behind and the latest polling has the race tied.

I'll believe it when I see it.

Erik is soooo delusional. Does the guy even know the truth anymore????

To suggest that Cruz is surging is as bad as it gets. Reminds me of a startup I worked for once. COuldn’t get the product out the door but w were shipping spec sheets by the thousands

Yesterday at a rally as he was introducing Carly, Ted actually said “ I know everyone is frustrated with politicians”....

He just kept on digging without even realizing that the was the one career government employee in the room

Sri used to join in on Herman Cain’s round table until he got so Cruzified that he couldn’t be objective. Herman even makes reference to it now and again by saying he has not announced support for anyone he just is bringing facts to clear up the nose generated by the media and pundits

His little “Resurgent” website has no less than 9 ad tracking programs on it. My Ad Tracking Blocker tells me how many on each site it blocks.

“The only wind at Cruz’s back is the one hastening his exit from the race”

The only wind at Cruz’s back is the billious backfiring that results every time he lets truth and reality seep into his conscious stream of thought.

Exactly. The Super PAC’s had already spent some 3 million in Indiana and Club for Growth said they would spend more. With 4 million in negative adds one should have a chance or be up a bit. Crus has his whacko bird, commie lover, Pentecostal old man pulling the chains of country church goers. Ted, his old man, and wife are a sad lot.

This is getting painful. I’m not a Trump guy, but it’s over for Cruz and it never was for Kasich.

“My take on Boehner’s meltdown yesterday:
gopE — “Well, Ted, we tried to throw our support behind you as you were our last shot at bumping off Trump, but you failed. We never really liked you, but now we need you out of the way so we can try to cozy up to Trump before it’s too late. Thanks for playing though.”

Seems that way.

The idea that the GOPe has to now “cozy up” to Trump is satisfying and at the same time a little disturbing.

These people are down hundreds of delegates, Trump just swept the Northeast and shut Cruz out, Trump’s leading in Indiana, Oregon, and California, and they are saying: “The signs are all in Cruz’s favor.”

People know, of course, that Baghdad Bob KNEW that he knew that he knew that American tanks were rolling into the outskirts of Baghdad. But on air he said they were beating the enemy, throwing them into the sea, preparing to launch the invasion of America.

The Bottom Line:

They knew he was a PAID mouthpiece.

Same with Eric Erickson. If Trump would pay the guy, he’d be extolling Trump.

Cruz is difficult for voters to like.

The comments by others may just reaffirm that he’s not likeable.

Cruz is having problems getting from campaign stop to campaign stop because he slowed down due to having KTRH radio host’s Michael Berry’s head stuck up Cruz’s ass.

This level of shilling in the face of unpleasant reality should be enough to destroy the reputation of anyone who engages in it. Of course, in the case of Erikson, the point may be moot.

One more last try I guess.

Go sit in the corner and suck your thumb as punishment for even posting this.

I wouldn’t vote for Ted Fat Dracula Cruz now even if he chose Reagan as his running mate. He has become ridiculous. He lost me when he hired Neil Bush to be on his finance committee. That told me all I needed to know.

Sell it somewhere else.

Truly pathetic.
