Mitt Romney about to enter GOP race
the-newshub.com ^ | 25 FEBRUARY 2016 | Bill Singletary

Mitt Romney is one step closer to entering the 2016 presidential race sources say, confirming what the-newshub.com reported last October that Romney would jump into the race after the first key primaries were held and some of the delegate dust had settled.

Romney told Fox News on Wednesday that “We have good reason to believe that there’s a bombshell in Donald Trump’s taxes,” and quickly added that Sens. Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio should also disclose their tax information. Romney’s statement was a bowshot aimed at Trump, sources say, the surprise GOP frontrunner for whom Romney has unmitigated disdain.

“More likely scenario is that the GOPe will try to get Romney or some other establishment hack to run as an independent third party candidate for the sole aim of defeating Trump in the general and handing Billary the Presidency.”

Then.....

Billary gets indicted and Biden steps in! We’ll have Biden against Romney! OMG! LOL

We only WISH he would enter the race. Makes it even more bleak for the others.

Romney might be able to be nominated from the floor, and the GOPe could still steal the nomination.

Only if Trump arrives at the convention with less than 1,237 pledged delegates. If Trump has that number or more, they cannot steal the nomination on the floor and their plot to install Romney or other GOPe hack as the nominee will not be possible.

On the first nominating ballot, all pledged delegates MUST vote for the person they are pledged to vote for. Only if no one has secured the votes of 1,237 delegates can the possibility that someone else other than Trump could ride in and steal the nomination. Pledged delegates are released from their pledge after the first ballot and are free to vote for whomever they wish in subsequent ballots until a nominee has secured 1,237 votes.

If Trump arrives at the convention with 1,237 pledged delegates (I predict he will have hundreds more than that), then Trump will win the GOP nomination on the first ballot, since the pledged delegates legally MUST vote for the person they are pledged.

Cruz is going to be out of the primaries soon. Cruzers support and apparently want an insider’s insider, so since Cruz won’t survive the next several primaries, might as well go with Romney, just another Washington Political Class insider same as Cruz. In fact, you guys ought to go ahead and encourage Cruz to drop out now before spending any more Donor Class banksters and billionaires’ money on Super Tuesday, Florida, etc., and endorse Romney. You hate Trump; makes total sense Romney would get 110% of your love and support. He’s your kinda guy, based on what you all have been posting here for months. You want someone who’ll vote for TPP and subsequent “free” trade deals, open borders and drastically increased immigrant work visas-—Trump ain’t your guy. But Romney is just what you’re looking for.

This is virtually a sure fire winner of a plan. It will bring the party together and beat HRC. Wow!

Right: get Trump out because he's the only one who can beat Hillary and he's the one who's going to put an end to the political cartel that now runs Washington and put an end to the DC trough and gravy train.

That of course won't happen with Hillary. And Romney can't beat Hillary in another 100 elections, but he has shown he is 100% willing to be the sacrificial lamb to keep Globalism going strong and to defeat the single Patriot candidate, Trump.

If they push Romney on us and steal the nomination from Trump, you can say goodbye to the United States of America, because we’ll be facing eight years of Mrs. Clinton.

Thanks, Mitt.

Romney is a string puller. He’s not going to run again. They need a strawman without baggage and also deniability.

GOP and Dem politicians are ALL in panic mode...so are Mex dirtbag politicians. The bureaucrats have sat on there collective asses for years voting raises FOR THEMSELVES and FLEECING TAXPAYERS. They are paralyzed with fear thinking that their money collecting free ride will come to a halt.
I am praying for Trump’s safety because the complete political(and papal)freak-out over his support by Americans is becoming very weird.

The Romney presidential motto:

Vote Romney - This Year's Sacrificial Lamb

Dole, McCain, Romney, Romney. But we keep our fiefdoms and sinecures of power, committee chairmanships, cocktail party invitations, media won't be mean to us, we get women, boys, whatever we want when we want it, stock tips, and making $175,000 a year salary makes you a millionaire in three or four years. Soak the taxpayers, soak the lobbyists, soak the donors, aw it's good being king, er, Washington Professional Politician. Never have to work again your entire life. Cadillac insurance, Rolls Royce retirement. We've made it honey, we've made it finally! We've ARRIVED!

there are only a few states left. Most have passed the filing deadline.

Stone is saying the GOPe will use Republican National Committee Rule No. 40(b) changed after the 2012 convention to read:

“Each candidate for nomination for President of the United States and Vice President of the United States shall demonstrate the support of a plurality majority of the delegates from each of five (5) Eight/8 or more states, severally, prior to the presentation of the name of that candidate for nomination. "

The rule was changed to require a candidate to have a majority (more than 50 percent) of delegate votes in at least eight states as a prerequisite to nomination. The rule cannot be changed again until the delegates arrive at the convention this summer and the Rules Committee convenes to establish the new rules of the convention.

Further the GOPe will try to "unbind" the delegates from Trumps primary wins.

Trump said the other day that Romney asked him for advice after he lost to Obama. Trump said he told him he had to quit walking like a penguin when he walked out on stage. He said he lost a lot of votes because he walks like a penguin. I laughed so hard my side started hurting.
