Mitt Romney about to enter GOP race
the-newshub.com ^ | 25 FEBRUARY 2016 | Bill Singletary

Mitt Romney is one step closer to entering the 2016 presidential race sources say, confirming what the-newshub.com reported last October that Romney would jump into the race after the first key primaries were held and some of the delegate dust had settled.

Romney told Fox News on Wednesday that “We have good reason to believe that there’s a bombshell in Donald Trump’s taxes,” and quickly added that Sens. Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio should also disclose their tax information. Romney’s statement was a bowshot aimed at Trump, sources say, the surprise GOP frontrunner for whom Romney has unmitigated disdain.

How much proof do people need that the GOP-establishment are NOT SCARED, THEY ARE PURE EVIL! They love their power far more than they have any love for our country of for the people who make it work. REVOLUTION!!! OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!

He doesn’t expect to win, just to act as a spoiler for Trump. He’s playing the “Perot” role.

I belive current candidates would be barred by sore loser laws from running third party in many states. An outside the campaign figure like Mittens or Bloomy could go 3P.

Watch the video linked on Drudge and see what you think. THe guy doing the talking is Roger Stone, Alex Jones just holds the mic and butts in occasionally so the question is “is Stone credible”? He’s been a lobbyist for Trump for a long time and has a colorful resume in politics and otherwise, having worked for Reagan and Dole. I don’t know if he’s credible or not, but I wouldn’t put anything past the GOPe when their power base is under attack.

The Koch brothers are libertarians, as is Stone, and they haven’t backed any candidate yet. But why would they throw in with the GOPe on a scheme like this where the primary objective is to save the GOPe from extinction?

Wow.

So I guess we can take your name off his Fan Club list, eh?

Okay, enough foolin’ around.

I’d tend to evaluate Romney’s candidacy on more of a functional basis.

I just don’t consider him to have the ability to even begin to address the task list the next POTUS is going to have to address. Period.

And the “elites” who are promoting all this?

If this cluster++++ is the best they can come up with, maybe it’s time to just cut to the chase and declare the Republican Party an extinct species before they embarrass themselves any more than they have already done.

I’ve got a very nice Jean Luc Picard Headpalm Moment gif on my computer that would be appropriate here, but since this clownact doesn’t rate the time it would take to post, I’d just pass the word to those fools: Stop wasting my damn time.

It took a while, but the light finally went off in my head last Thursday night as to Teds true colors.

For a bright guy, why doesn’t he realize that these guys hate him almost as much as they hate Trump. When he is of no more use to them after the Primaries, they’ll slice his Achilles Tendons and urinate on the open wounds.

Cruz, Rubio and Romney working together, how sweet.

Going to be an interesting couple weeks up to the Florida primary. These are historic times...

Most filing deadline dates have passed.

Those are primary deadlines. These GOPe clowns are running “nevertrump” campaign on twitter right now. I have no doubt they would put up a 3rd party strawman to run against Trump if they fail to knock us out in the primary.

Out of 2,470 total delegates at the Republican National Convention in 2016, 437 are unpledged delegates, who play the same role as superdelegates. Of the 437, 168 are members of the Republican National Committee.

Romney might be able to be nominated from the floor, and the GOPe could still steal the nomination.

They’ve already flushed over $100 million on Yeb! Where is the bottom of this barrel? Scary to think about where this might end up considering that billions of dollars are at stake for these crony capitalist donors.

Romney couldn’t beat Obama. What hope does he have that he’d change folks from Hillary?

Guess the GOPe has decided that Capitol Hill is close enough.

Seriously though, this isn’t happening. Not even the GOPe can be that stupid.

I'll never vote for this idiot again. The first time, 2008, I voted for him in the primary and went home to watch the returns. On the way home, the news was reported that he had dropped out of the race.

In 2012, he "went missing" about two weeks before the elections. I got the feeling he wasn't interested in beating the Kenyan. To me, Romney on the ticket would be just like the GOP decided not to run anybody.
