First off I am for Ted Cruz. Secondly, for quite a while, I couldn't fathom voting for Trump as I can't get myself to trust he is for real.
But, I do appriciate the war against the GOPe that Donald Trump did instigate. Not even Ted Cruz could have instigated such an attack against the forces that seek to destroy us. Trump single handedly took down the GOPe golden child Jeb! Bush...at least until last nights debate.
Now I know the audience was mostly stacked by the South Carolina GOPe so that's why Trump and Cruz were booed a lot and Jeb! and Rubio got the loudest cheers. The boos didn't bother me. Cruz and Trump at each others throats did.
When Cruz and Trump were attacking each other, that's where the debate crashed and burned for insurgents. Trump and Cruz looked bad in the end and Jeb! and Rubio came out of this debate looking strong.
Fortunately it was a Saturday night and I am sure many Republican voters were out and did not see this disaster. But they will see the sound bites which will make Trump and Cruz look worse...and Jeb! and Rubio look better.
I understand politics. I know it's a blood sport. But If I could speak to both of them directly, I would tell both Trump and Cruz to lay off each other... at least until they are the last two standing. They need to unite as the insurgents against a corrupt GOPe. They are allowing an opening fro Jeb! (and Rubio) to get back in this thing. The need to focus their attacks on the ruling class (Jeb!) and amnesty whores (Rubio, Jeb!, Kasich). As of now, I believe Jeb! and Rubio have new life and that ain't good
I know it's one debate, but Trump and Cruz are getting extremely vile and nasty towards one another and it must stop. They need to unite in one common goal; to take down and destroy the GOPe.
Once they drive the the other clowns from the race and they are the last two standing, then they can do what politics requires to win. But until then, focus on the issues and focus on the destruction and havoc caused by the GOPe candidates.
BTW: I have changed. If Trump gets the nomination I will have to overlook my doubts and dislike of him and vote for him. Justice Scalia's death has reminded me how important it is that Hillary or Bernie never get to appoint a SCOTUS justice.

Ted burned “principled” to ashes on the altar of winning in IA. And he got a LOT worse at the debate. He's punching way above his weight. I'll still vote for him as a nominee but the thrill is definitely gone.

I'm a Cruzer that has been OK with Trump and I have both Cruz and Trump bumpers stickers on my vehicle {as well as "hillary for prison 2016"}. If I got to appoint the President, it would be Cruz, but we have these election thingies, so my appointment doesn't count.

Let me see, a show that provided a real service to businesses, and winning team members getting money for their charity/ vs Your guy, who is on video doing the voice overs for all the characters of an adult cartoon show.
Trump is a crony capitalist, a part of the establishment for decades, and cannot be trusted because he has no principles. There can be no assurance that he will nominate anyone remotely acceptable for the Supreme Court. What’s to stop him from nominating a liberal? Loyalty to Conservatism or Liberty? He doesn’t believe in these ideals.
