Voters are still coming in and trending Trump's way but this shows we are headed for a showdown between socialistic fear and greed and capitalistic optimism. Trump will crush Comrade Sanders.

Sanders’ numbers went up 15% points in a couple hours yesterday.

He obviously got a large enough group to “freep” the poll.

There’s been a huge effort by the Sanders people. Or is it by the Government people? Obviously, Clinton is being thrown under the bus.

Much of the basis of the Sanders campaign is: “Other countries are socialist and they have built a paradise; we can too.”

It’s BS and Trump will rip him apart.

Funny how people get worked up over a “poll” that allows multiple votes.

I've ALWAYS said that what we need to get rid of is the muck in the middle. In a war of ideas, liberal vs Constitution/conservative, we win.

Sanders vs Trump, coming out of the '60s and taking different paths to success, are two very excellent spokespeople for those opposing values. They've lived them, and they've lived what the US has lost since those days when we believed we lived in the best country on earth. They both want what's best for the US.

A poll such as this has no bearing on an election. The mechanics are flawed.

The poll isn’t even a little bit scientific. Reading anything into the results is utter hogwash. Sanders is up probably because someone created a script to vote continuously through the night.

Bernie Sanders = George McGovern

There's no way that Bernie could beat any of the Republicans currently in the mix.

Not even Jeb.

I doubt an internet poll is that relevant for Democrats. More GOP are online.

She won’t withdraw because it increases he likelihood she gets indicted. Plus don’t under estimate the super delegate lock put in place for Hillary by Debbie Wasserman.

This is will go down as the most amazing and unusual political campaign for the presidency in American history.

After untangling the tortured opening sentence, I still have to disagree with the author's statement.

In the election of 1860, Lincoln beat Breckenridge, Bell and Stephen Douglas. All of them won states. Lincoln won a majority of electoral votes with under 40% of the popular vote. The War of 1861 started shortly after.

In the Hayes-Tilden election, there were 11 states with two sets of election returns. For Hayes to win, he needed all 11. Ultimately, a deal was struck, and Hayes was inaugurated, but Reconstruction was ended.

But I have been assured that Christian conservatives prefer the default election of socialist/communist Sanders to the election of Trump, and thus millions of Christian conservatives will sit out.

Christian conservatives I am told are ok with the certain final destruction of America, and ok with the certain elevation of four leftists to the Supreme Court to finally destroy our Constitution.

I am reliably told Christian conservatives know with absolute certainty that Trump could not possibly be a satisfactory president.

Unless she gets indicted, the. Nomination is Hillary’s. She has the Superdelegates locked up, needs well less than a majority of regular delegates and primary votes to win. Numericly there’s no way Bernie can climb that particular hill.

8:18 am est

Trump 36%
Sanders 30%
Cruz 19%

The drudge poll has conservatives at 55%, communists at 30%
I am surprised the communist is doing so well, but consider 0bama has put the US into a depression for seven years

Jeb! 1% (10,305 votes)
Clinton 1% (10,096 votes)
Bwhaahaahaaa

Sanders is a one of a kind in the race, being an admitted outright socialist.

If a race boiled down to just Trump and Sanders, those voting for the others would be more apt to vote Trump, which would put him over the top by a considerable margin.

Sanders??? I used to live in Vermont (an economic disaster outside of Burlington)...America’s college students are as dumb as a bag of hammers. ‘Obama didn’t work out; let’s try Bernie!’

Yet it will. It is because we are living in interesting times.
