Chris Rock is a favorite of ours at LwC (see Dear Racist Chris Rock: White Kids Get Shot Too.. More, Actually and Dear Chris Rock: You Racist, Ignorant A...), as is Jennifer Lawrence (see Jennifer Lawrence Angers Feminists on 'Equal Pay' : 'I Blame Myself..' and #SJW Feminists OUTRAGED Over How Much Jennifer Lawrence Makes..), so when we heard the two names together..
Oh, no. They aren't making a movie together. Chris Rock was just claiming that if J-Law were black, then she would really have some unequally pay to complain about.
Rock, who spread the word about Jones to a lot of people before finally landing on SNL, spoke to The New Yorker about how funny he considers Jones, and he invoked Lawrence to make a point about another issue in Hollywood:
"Black women have the hardest gig in show business. You hear Jennifer Lawrence complaining about getting paid less because she’s a woman—if she was black, she'd really have something to complain about."
Yes, it's problematic that the white, liberal men who run Hollywood don’t pay persons or color or genders of female as much as they pay other white, liberal men. Also other black, liberal men (like Chris Rock). Also other white, liberal women (like Jennifer Lawrence).
See what I did there? I just continued on down Chris Rock’s identity politics trail, and it sounded absurd. That’s because it is.

Oh, it's true. But on to the main point. What bothers me about Chris Rock is that right here, he is creating the very PC, #SJW environment he claims to hate on campus. Yes, it's true. Chris Rock echoed Jerry Seinfeld's sentiment in that colleges were "too PC" and he didn't enjoy playing them anymore. See Chris, you don’t get to categorize everybody by race, gender and orientation in order to consistently play the victim card…
… then turn around and whine when college students categorize everybody by race, gender and orientation to consistently play the victim card. The PC outrage culture was spawned by people like you. You're now just facing a generation who’s taking it a step further. Let that reverberate for a second. Mizzou was created by you. SJW feminism was created by you. The students protesting Jerry Seinfeld performing on campus? They are your Frankenstein monster.

That's when you post something online about how exhausted you are working two jobs and going to school at night, and immediately some woman you barely know jumps on there and tells you that "you don't know what exhaustion is" because she has a 2 year old and nothing, nothing, nothing is as hard as running around after that 2 year old.

This is blackjacking. No matter what you have ever gone through, I don't care if you escaped Cuba without a penny, swam for miles, and were fished out barely alive and covered with stingray welts. It's nothing compared to having a cabbie pass you by because you are black in NYC.

That's just flat-out too much money when one clinker can torpedo a career, and because no one knows in advance whether a picture is going to be a success or not (other than lemming-bait, like Star Trek or Star Wars, or any first-time-out movie based on a freakin' comic book). J-Law needs to pay attention to most of the people (not just women) around her most of the day, and keep in mind what working for a living actually entails. It's too late for Chris Rock, he's got a huge net worth and is on the twilight side of his career, plus he's an unreconstructed racist. Thanks Impala64ssa.

Oh geez, that was funny. I ended up listening to about 6 of the related videos. “Movies where Black and White People Get Along” about killed me.
