Enemies and friends: Obama promised change. He delivered. Friends are now enemies, and enemies are now friends
This is not a sexy or juicy topic for a commentary, but it is a subject an informed reader should know about. Because, you’re not going to hear about it on the nightly news.
Many have pointed out, and rightly so, that it’s hardly unheard of in geopolitics for friends to spy on each other. We all know the U.S. and Israel have done this to each other for years, which is why Jonathan Pollard spent so many decades behind bars.
But when it comes to how you treat your allies, not all spying is the same. We may very well spy on the Israelis, or the Brits, or the French, or the Canadians, in order to make sure we know everything there is to know – and to make sure our own interests are protected in the context of the alliance. It’s messy business but it’s often necessary, and we don’t use the information we gather for the purpose of compromising our allies’ security.
Friends are now enemies, but I see no enemies that have become friends.

Well... we ain’t seen nothing yet obama is coming back from his multimillion dollar vacation in Hawaii as he said ENERGIZED and there isn’t anything to stop him in his goal to completely transform (DESTROY) America.
And “We The People” will as we have for the last 7 years sit and watch, ignoring the fact we have the constitutional authority to DEPOSE a tyrannical government and instead just get our blah blah on.
Yeah there is boatload of old excuses which have all been replaced with the newest and final excuse “It’s Too Late Now”
Where is the outrage in the press for spying on congress? Why do you think the GOP has been caving to Obama for the last 7 years and they base sees them as completely useless or traitors????? If there were some courageous people in the GOP that cared more about this country than their careers this would be a nightmare for dems.
Obama and the Democrats have ultimate power, just like Hitler did and he turned Germany into a Fascist state. Obama and the Democrats are doing that to the USA
Who would do that? The House GOPe dopes? They have already surrendered their most potent Constitutional weapon, the power of the purse. Who would convict him? The GOPe dopes in the Senate? By the time the process is completed Hillary will be inaugurated.
I say let's start impeachment proceedings against the Hilldebeest since we have tons of hard evidence against her that the DOJ evidently can't use. It would be so sweet to have history books explain that the second and third U.S. Presidents to be impeached were both named Clinton.
The US is becoming more like Mussolini’s fascist Italy everyday.
Bibi is no fool... he can recognize an enemy, especially such an obvious enemy as Obama, when he sees one... and he has probably the best spy and electronics experts in the world.
I doubt Bibi let Jerusalem be harmed by this additional spying.
But the big thing imho is that OBAMA SPIES ON OUR CONGRESS!
Is it any wonder that NONE of our Congress-critters has even initiated an impeachment action, despite the MANY constitutional violations involving our Caliph in Chief?
