The Democrat structure in New York State has been severely damaged by the conviction of Sheldon Silver; and this bodes well for Donald Trump.
Barack Obama made a mistake and appointed Preet Bharara, an honest man, as U S Attorney for the Eastern District of New York. He was appointed by to protect Democrats; but it didn’t work out that way.
He is systematically draining Albany’s cesspool of corruption and is sending former New York State Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver to prison. Bharara has been a relentless bulldog chasing corruption among Democrats and Republicans.
Because of careful redistricting, New York’s Republicans have been able to maintain their power in the State’s Senate; and they are corrupt as well.
In a matter of days the former Republican Senate Majority leader Dean Skelos will be convicted on his own corruption charges.
Silver is facing 130 years in prison and Skelos may be looking at about ten years. Nevertheless, neither of these men, who have lived like royalty for many years, will accept these sentences without trying to strike a bargain. They are both crooks who will act like trapped rats and hand up everybody they committed crimes with – maybe even New York’s Democrat governor Andrew Cuomo.
Hillary Clinton can be very easily tied to both Silver and Cuomo; the governor being Bharara’s next...

Finally nailing Silver is like getting Boss Tweed in another era.
Cuomo promised to fight corruption in New York. He appointed an ethics commission when he got elected—but then he abolished it when the commission started to uncover corruption of all his RAT friends. The State of New York is beyond corrupt—it is a criminal conspiracy. Trump’s Attorney General can use the RICO statute to great effect in the Empire State.

The Trumpkins are getting like the Warmists. Whatever happens, they spin it to be proof of what they say and what their guy says. Even if he said the opposite not long ago.
You think this doesn’t help Trump? It’s not like it was happening in New Mexico- this is Trump’s backyard and he knows these people. Trump will hang this around Hillary’s neck and at very least force her to campaign in New York.
