I'm a Tea Partier. I detest Obama and the Progressive hoard that has Washington, DC and large portions of America in a death grip. So why don't I like Donald Trump?
Honestly, sometimes I wonder what the hell is wrong with me these days. Why can't I get on the bandwagon along with so many others with whom I agree about most everything? ...
So what's the problem with Trump? In a nutshell: judgment, or rather a deficit of it, which in turn ought to make reasonable people otherwise inclined to agree with him to perhaps, think a bit harder about the consequences of their support for him in a precarious and dangerous world ...

I am sticking with my three month old prediction:
Trump will eventually endorse Ted Cruz.
Seriously?
Look, what I am asking is why men would envy Trump more than they envy any of the other candidates who are married and who play a fair game of golf.
There really is no reason, other than the hero worship some of his fans have built up around him.
Which also explains your easy dismissal of the daughter's feminism and liberalism.
She's a Manhattan liberal---a feminist---who seeks like company. She isn't a Tea Partier wishing she could find right-wing friends and reluctantly settling for Democrats.
LOL
How do we know Ross Perot wouldn’t have done as he said?
+1
This is exactly the way it should be done. Rather than smearing someone else’s candidate, you promote your own. This, btw, is what Cruz himself does. Rather than calling Trump names, etc., he makes the case for himself. It’s the best strategy—and why more Cruz supporters don’t follow his lead is a mystery.
If he is playing us all for a fool, then when we realize it - that will be the end of Trump and his presidency because we will turn on him so fast and in such anger he will not know what hit him. The media will turn on him too unless they are in cahoots with his foolery. Also, think about his business. He may lose business and business friends.
No, I don’t see how Trump wins by lying or fooling us. Besides, he seems quite sincere/genuine to me. I have faith in what he says.
Wish more Freepers were this smart.
Gang, KEEP YOU EYES on the target. The GOPe is our foe. Until their candidates are gone, we don't need to shoot at each others candidates. Learn the lessons of 2008 and 2012.
But I gotta say, Trump is much more electable, at least so say the polls.
Trump is my second choice.
>> Using the term piece of (blank)” as a favorite term for females <<
Please, cut out your petty calumny.
I suspect you know as well as I that DT meant that term only for women who are ravishingly beautiful, like Marla, Melania and countless other young starlets and models whom he has “dated.”
Conversely, I think you can be sure he would never use such salacious language for over-the-hill women, homely women and/or for those he might view as adversaries, like Hilary or Carly.
Anyway, it really doesn’t matter, since it has long been established that Dear Leader Trump can do no wrong. His wisdom transcends the understanding of mere mortals like you and me.
The conservative base will say they have to support Cruz. Yep, I supoort him after Trump. If you don’t support Cruz, you are a nobody.
Ted is disturbing because there is no way in hell he could win the general election.
Dude, don’t EVEN....don’t EVEN!
:P
>>Before Trump, most of us on FR believed in smaller government.
There will never be smaller government. There will always be politicians who lie to you and say that they will shrink it, but the best they can do is slow the growth.
>>trumpoids.
Calling people names will not change that.
The only thing that will change that will not happen because the economy of Wall St will never bring jobs back the US until the corporations can hire Americans for Chinese labor prices. So, that isn’t going to happen.
“graphics saying Run Bitches do not help.”
They don’t hinder, either. Lighten up, for Pete’s sake.
I can't agree with your assertion that the difference is 30%-40%, but we recognize there's a difference in Cruz's favor.
The answer of course is that all things being equal, we'd be better off with Cruz.
Except in the real world, all things never are...equal. So I could smile the day after Election Day if either one were President-elect.
I believe Cruz would run the government like a conservative. I don't know how much he would accomplish.
Trump is not a textbook conservative. He has issued written documents saying, this is what I will do. I believe he will accomplish a lot more of what he says he will do. He's got good instincts and he listens.
.
A TEA partier is anyone that holds that taxes are way too high and government way too large.
.
P.S.
Four hours, fifty-five minutes...
That is VERY funny !
.
Perot ran as an independent. Trump is running as a Republican. You cannot get on the ballot in Texas and several other states having run, and lost, in a Primary. Without Texas and these other states, you cannot win the Presidency. Trump has demonstrated he is not stupid. He will not run unless he can win.
Trump cannot run as an Independent now. He either has to win as the GOP candidate or get out of the race
Have you not noticed by now that Trump’s natural instinct is not to respectfully disagree, but to offer angry, personal disdain for others?
Trump sounds like a Freeper
