Rush Limbaugh: Media Hyping Carly Fiorina in Order to get rid of Donald Trump

Here’s conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh’s take on why Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina is doing so well at the moment…

Rush Limbaugh said on his radio program Friday that he believes the mainstream media is “hyping” Carly Fiorina in an attempt to “get rid” of Republican frontrunner Donald Trump.

Limbaugh offered the theory after a listener called into his program complaining that the former Hewlett-Packard CEO is “evil” and will do “anything she can to get ahead.” The listener contended Fiorina is a “political insider” and asked “why the media keeps hiding everything on her.”

“Because they want to get rid of Trump,” Limbaugh replied, according to a transcript on his website. “It’s not that they like her. This is the mistake people are making. It’s not that they like Fiorina. They never liked McCain. They just made him think they did and everybody else. They don’t like any Republican.”

Limbaugh went on to note that the media chooses “our nominees for us” by “making us think they like them.”

What do you make of “El Rushbo’s” comments?

I think it makes sense, even though Carly more than held her own during the second primetime debate.

The man with the nicotine stained fingers is usually spot on with what he has to say, and I definitely wouldn’t ever want to get into an argument over politics with the guy, because I’m sure he’s forgotten more than I’ll ever know.

Many on the right (and obviously on the left) would love for the summer of Trump to end sooner rather than later, so hyping Fiorina (the lone woman amongst a crowded GOP field full of men) fits the bill.

They’ve become despised and totally irrelevant. Few even care what the MSM or the oppressive professional con-men in D.C. say.

The democrats won’t even allow a debate among themselves.
The republicans have a dozen + candidates and the debate so far is about minor People magazine stuff.

In the end it will be President Trump and maybe VP Ted Cruz solely because all the others are pro politicians.
Trump may make gaffes and change his mind every other week but he lets you know what he is thinking whereas these others will in my opinion lie to us and in come the illegals and more obamacare and let Iran get nuclear weapons because it is a game with them and they make money yanking us around.

The only one to trip Trump up will be Trump.

I think the MSM has run out of people to support against Trump. They tried Kasich after the first debate, Carson for awhile and Walker has imploded. Recognizing the overwhelming appetite for an outsider they were left with no one but Carly to try. Their hope was that she could get enough traction to at least put a dent in Trump before people started to know her history.

I have an acquaintance who considers herself a conservative-feminist also. But whenever a female elected is asked a difficult question, she becomes a full blown feminist. When I brought up the “Fetus on the table” instead of a live baby, I thought she would faint, trying to give an excuse. I’m an OLD nurse, and a newborn baby is A BABY, and the nurses, doctor and parents KNOW it is a BABY. The fetus was NOT a slip of the tongue, this is the way Carly thinks of a baby in the making.
