Ted Cruz and Donald Trump have united to fight the Iran nuclear agreement.
On Thursday, the Texas senator invited the real estate mogul to join him in rallying against the deal on the Capitol grounds, and Trump accepted.
The two Republican presidential candidates said they would do something very big over the next two weeks in Washington.
Trump made his announcement after a campaign rally in South Carolina, referring to Cruz as a friend of mine and a good guy.
The event will be sponsored by Tea Party Patriots, the Center for Security Policy, and the Zionist Organization of America, campaign spokesman Catherine Frazier told The Blaze.
We are thankful for all their hard work on this effort, and will have more details on time, date, and location as they are finalized, she said.
Trump, author of The Art of the Deal, also gave his thoughts on the Iran deal.
By the way, even if you break it up, they are going to get $150 billion, he said. You know what Id do? I wouldnt give them the money. I dont care what the deal I would not give them the money.244100#ixzz3k7FgqQja

I did a fast search of both our post histories.
Your first use of “crumpet” was 8/19.
Mine was 8/17.
Now, I used it on several threads, and that might be where you saw it - but I’m guessing?
Regardless, it needs maximum spread, right?

Leep to pugmama
am so stealing this line! Just terrific!
Only if you join my newly formed group:
Crumpets for Trumpettes.
“Regardless, it needs maximum spread, right?”
Agreed.
We aren’t going to be the ones deciding which order these two patriots run as. Regardless, both men are patriots and they both deserve our support and our votes. The Country is primary and foremost as well as the future for our children and grandchildren.
Sitting this one out will have dire consequences and not an option. The last two elections are proof of that.
I hope so
In ANY order
No, the GOP will not move to the right when they lose national elections.
Yes, not voting in the general election for a possible Jeb Bush ticket does help the Dems - which hurts us.
Yes, the more times we put Dems in charge, the worse things get ... but no, that doesn't mean the country will move right.
No, the farthest left GOP candidate will NOT be worse than a Dem.
... and sadly, yes, many FReepers will yet again help the Dems in 2016 because their favorite candidate didn't make it on the final GOP ticket.
Make your voice heard in the primaries. Then help ensure the Dems don't win - regardless of who the GOP candidate is.
Nope. I'm done getting screwed by those who are supposed to be on my side. Maybe you like that, like a battered woman always comes back for more. "But I LUUUUUUUV the GOP!". No thanks. That may well be your thing, but I'm telling you right now, we can either put Trump/Cruz in, or we'll have another 8 years of dummycrats. It really is that simple. You see, the GOP is dead. What we are seeing from Yeb and the rest are the dying gasps of a once great party. At this point, there is NO SAVING the GOP. The ONLY option is to tear it down with Trump, and rebuild it with cruise. Anything less is nothing short of traitorous. I will NOT be party to that nonsense any longer.
