This has gone on long enough. All that anyone can talk about right now is how Republican voters are itching for someone to stand and fight, speak his mind, and tell it like it is. All right then, here goes.
Donald Trump is not a conservative, and its beyond time every Republican knows it. This MSNBC caricature of the GOP incarnate is getting heaps of praise from frustrated conservative base voters and unfortunately too much airtime from conservative political pundits because he evidently tells it like it is.
Except that he doesnt.

So we can can all line up behind Jeb Bush? No thank you.
Second rest = secret
What I would rather do is NOT help any establishment candidates. As far as I am concerned, the GOP will not be a party I can vote for until it is gutted and the establishment losers who have held the voters in contempt are denounced and stripped of their power.
I like Ted Cruz. if he catches on, that would be great, but until that happens, I am content to let Trump rip the establishment traitors a new one for their treachery.
Donald Trump can inspire the nation and get its attention. I’d rather that we accept a Donald Trump presidency and use the money that would’ve been spent on a race primarying all the DC bums who support Boehner or McConnell.
It’s time for the establishment to wake up to the fact that their days are OVER. Liberals have had enough too.
Would you rather have someone who politely ask a political appointee (like the two bit IRS Commissioner) to kindly submit his resignation, or someone who will tell him “you’re fired!”
GOP bumper stickers:
“There’s Nothing Like Business As Usual”
“I’ll Promise You Anything”
I dunno...I will hear them all speak in person, read about them, and meet most of them, between now and February 9 when I vote.
You should, too.
Ummmm.... No. Ted Cruz has already been doing that for years( and has the battle scares to prove it)’long before Trump even entered the race.
Trump and Carson are my choices. Cruz could have been President, but he sold out on the trade bill, the Corker bill, H-B visas, etc. Look at the two donors shelling out over 10 million. No one does that without expecting something. One is an energy investor company.

Huh. Neither was Reagan.
But I didn't cringe when I pulled the lever for him.
Trump has actually clearly said that he’d reform healthcare with, among other things, private plans like people had before Obamacare—but he would have the government cover healthcare for the poor.
That’s really no different than any of the “conservative candidates’” pitches.
It was a 15-years-ago one-time thing whereby he advocated an increase in the corporate tax rate. More recently, such as in his 2011 book, he has advocated zero corporate tax and low income taxes.
Criticism of Our Churchill can earn you scorn from otherwise good people who will sometimes believe anything they’re told.
Cruz checks all the boxes for a conservative. But he has no chance. I live with three college aged daughters and a wife, all vote Republican but don’t follow politics 24/7 like us. These are regular Republican voters. They all think Cruz is weird looking and sounds goofy on TV. They love Donald Trump. They know the brand, the ego, the shtick. Even when he lashes out it is with some humor and a smirk. They get a kick out of him always saying how rich he is and how he’s going to make America great again.
You say "Small Ball"? You do realize that, that is the way you make significant change don't you? Take a look at the Obama administration, every thing is small ball and it is absolutely devastating the country. They create a distracting fake issue and make the fundamental change under the radar. Maybe you haven't been paying attention. Of all the folks running I believe Walker understand that and how to make it happen. He also seems more that willing to do it.
I don’t have a problem pulling for Trump but everyone has a vote and at least 50% of Republicans and virtually all Dems are not going to, under any circumstances.
Absolutely! Me Too!
I am a Conservative who ran for Congress in 2009 as a Republican against 5 guys in the primary. I won the election. The Republicans threw me under the bus, I was too conservative and a National Poster child, (Latina) at that ......................................
crying out that illegal immigration MUST BE STOPPED!
The Republican Party we have today IS NOT A REPUBLICAN PARTY! They are SCREWING us royally. God Bless Donald Trump for having the guts to say it like it is.
IS THERE A PERFECT CANDIDATE? Donald Trump is perfect enough for me and it seems like MILLIONS of other people feel the same way!
So now we are : Latinos who support Donald Trump!

I guess I do like Trump in part because he doesn’t have to go begging for money. But I don’t really trust him. On the other hand, I don’t think he’s going to say something that he doesn’t believe just to get votes.
Trump set the race on fire and got all the right people mad at him. He got them to act loony. It only helped to improve Trump’s poll numbers. So Trump is ruining the Rinos from their attempt at a coronation of Jeb.
