For the first time this year, Donald Trump tops a state poll of GOP presidential candidates in Florida.
A St. Pete Polls survey released on Wednesday shows the New York businessman with 26 percent support, with Jeb Bush in second place with 20 percent.
Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker is in third place with 12 percent, and Marco Rubio is in fourth place with 10 percent. Hes followed by Dr. Ben Carson at 5 percent, Ted Cruz and John Kasich at 4 percent, and Rand Paul at 3 percent. 16 percent are unsure or are supporting another candidate not named in the survey.

Heheh...that’s great. We’ll be hearing from The Don soon (I’m changing his name from The Donald to The Don...it sound sooo mafioso).;-)
Have you been watching comments about Trump from Dems and libs on social media? I've never seen so many of them come right out and say they're voting for the Republican candidate.
He's the anti-establishment candidate, and is drawing support from Americans of every stripe. If he keeps this up, no one will be able to beat him.
No wonder he’s not running for re-election—single digits for Rubio!
(And I think Floridians know his ethnicity and who he is. They must have just figured out he’s a callow phony like the rest of us have observed.)
LOL.
I like to call him Mr. Trump.
Mr. TrIump!
I am Tweeting and posting the heck out of both articles.
Can you post the DC article as a stand alone on FR? I don’t know how to do it.
I can try...
I have to closely watch the FReepathon thread.
Jeb's chances of becoming president were never good. In my opinion, his whole effort to become the Republican nominee was a monumental waste of time and money.
The country isn't going to elect another Bush in our lifetimes, and Jeb (of all people) should know that.
Tweeted too. (:
;-)
Rush would call his talk of Trump as analysis, and Trump is beating the crowd.
Interesting break out of the respondents;

At first I was surprised, then I recalled about Jeb recently whimpering about his son being rejected because of his skin; the Terri Schiavo scandal; and other things.
I have been asking the same question for weeks. Crickets.
Your right, which only make you wonder how out of touch the GOP-e must be to think they can successfully foist him on us.
I’m a Florida retiree whose IRA is performing quite well, thank you. My savings accounts pays little if any interest, but isn’t necessary for my survival, anyway. Most folks who have prepared for retirement that I know in my community are doing just fine. The key is going into retirement debt-free and living within your means. SS and Medicare are great safety nets that aren’t unraveling, yet.
Too simple.
Go to the top of any FR page and click on 'Post'. Fill in all of the appropriate blanks. That's it.
“Jeb has no where to go but down.”
That’s what I’ve been saying. He already has 100% name recognition, and his positions aren’t likely to steal votes from Cruz/Carson/Paul/Fiorina/Trump/Santorum/Jindal/Huckabee/Walker.
I’m hoping Jeb is already dead man walking.
We also were raised to be very patriotic - right after WWII and Korea. DDE added "under God" to the pledge to separate us from communism.
Jeb was a good governor. We’re just burned out from compassionate conservatism in the White House.
Putting it all on FL strategy didn’t work for Giuliani and won’t work for Jeb, even if it’s his ‘home’ state. By then there’s been too much momentum building by other candidates, or another candidate. He’s gotta trudge thru the IA and NH snow if he has any hope to capture the nomination.
