We are far too busy working our tails off to keep paying that mortgage, and the car payment, and the cell phone bills (not about to give up that iPhone 42!), the college fund for the kids, the gym membership, the big screen TV's and the booze to watch the big game on the TV's.

In order to stand up to the tyranny, we would necessarily lose most, if not all, of those things. What are you, crazy or something? No, DC can do what they want, and we will be good serfs. Now get busy paying "your fair share" and shut up.
