Macy's is paying the price for sacking Donald Trump, because we've learned thousands of customers are cutting up their Macy's credit card in protest.
Sources connected to the department store tell TMZ, Macy's has received complaints from approximately 30,000 customers since ending its relationship with Trump nearly 2 weeks ago.
We're told the store has been "inundated with complaints" from customers who believe the department store is unfairly punishing Trump for his views on immigration.
Our sources say thousands of customers have vowed never to shop at Macy's again and many of them say they're cutting up their Macy's credit card to make a statement.
We're told the complaints have come in various ways, including phone, Facebook and email. A Macy's spokesperson would only say, "Our Facebook page is often times used by our customers to express their feelings or points of view. Many times it does not correlate to any action."
Macys has been going downhill for awhile. My mom who liked Macys now prefers Dillards. Better quality, more selections.
We always shopped there, we haven’t complained, and we will NEVER ship there again.
How dare those Unamerican bastards side with the murderer of Ms. Steinle.
Like Penneys, Target and Home Depot before it, we won’t even walk through a Macy’s store anymore. None of these businesses needed to take political stances, but they did - at their own expense. Let the chips fall where they may for their survival. We won’t miss them when they’re gone.
I don’t shop there, but I pay a Macy’s bill every month. I am raising a niece and nephew and putting them through college. I have provided both with a Macy’s card and I’m not about to take the cards from them just because the store doesn’t like liberal Donald Trump.
As I said in another post. Trump is exposing all of the candy ass politicians and businesses.
You don’t like Trump anyway.
I will call them tomorrow. Haven’t done it yet.
I’m from Oklahoma and Dillards was always way better than Macy’s....
I don’t like liberals.
...and ‘big’ businesses think they can just say what they think people want to hear and then afterwards, boom there goes the ‘big’ business...loving it...LMAO...
Couldn’t they do just as well with a Kohl’s or some other card? It would be a good teaching opportunity about standing up for freedom of speech, and not patronizing businesses that surpress it.
I don’t think my niece would rather shop at Kohl’s, no.
I think Trump is resonating because he'll actually BACK his supporters. Thousands of people are calling Macy's and cutting up there credit cards in protest. They got their cue to do this from Trump himself.
This is EXACTLY how the Left operates. Their leaders LEAD, and the hordes of insane Liberals follow, knowing that their leaders will support their actions.
I think the reason the Tea Party fizzled and hasn't really made any progress is because SO MANY Republicans didn't support it and actually attacked it.
Our side will never be successful if the grassroots and the leadership don't support each other. What's going on with this Macy's thing is a beautiful thing to behold. A non-Liberal attack on a Liberal institution that actually has a chance of succeeding.
macy’s like Sears and JC Penney has been hanging by a thread for awhile now. They are on the way out.
Yesterday we bought a Simmons, instead.
did they ever even respond? even though I’m sure it would be a ‘canned’ fairness speech or some such crap.
I happened across the Miss USA Pageant on the net last evening; dropped by Univision and picked up by REELZ. It went off beautifully. My only complaint is that the winner should have been Miss Texas instead of Miss Oklahoma.
But somewhere in the shadows, The Donald had to be snickering up his sleeve at the PC doofuses at Univision.
MinuteGal sure chose the right store as her number one place for Freepers to boycott through November, Macy’s. Bravo.
