Aaron and Melissa Klein ordered not to talk publicly about their faith.
I dont know if youve followed the case of Sweet Cakes by Melissa. This is the now-closed bakery in Oregon that has become a target of state officials because its Christian owners declined to bake a cake for a lesbian wedding.
Not only has the business been forced to close, the state has fined the Kleins $135,000. But it gets worse. Much worse. Now that state has responded to a radio interview the Kleins gave by ordering them to no longer talk publicly about why their faith compels them to decline such business.
Weve been telling you for some time now that this gay wedding business is little more than a cover for Fascism. Some of you thought that was way overblown. Can you still doubt it after this?
In the ruling, Avakian placed an effective gag order on the Kleins, ordering them to cease and desist from speaking publicly about not wanting to bake cakes for same-sex weddings based on their Christian beliefs.

I be confused.
The "place of public accommodation" in question is supposedly their bakery, which I understand is no longer in operation.
If it's out of business, how can they discriminate?
Sounds like you could be fined for a pure hypothetical.
You’re the one who is not getting it. Any grocery store can make a plain cake. The very reason people go to artisan bakers is to receive their artisanship. Take a look at her web site. Her cakes are works of art.
Leftist hate, and find any excuse to kill other people’s joy.
That complicates things.
If there is no place of public accommodation, how can it discriminate?
I was incorrect about the persecuted bakers having four little kids. They have five kids, most of them little.
You are correct. And it is messed up.
They did ignore him.
It’s my understanding the these damages are not paid to the plaintiff but go to the state. All punitive damages in the state of Oregon go to the state.
