The Nightly Show host also took on presidential candidate Bobby Jindal and Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.

In response to Fridays ruling by the Supreme Court declaring same-sex marriage legal in all 50 states, Larry Wilmore promised a #BigGayMonday episode of The Nightly Show to celebrate.
The episode, dubbed Larry Wilmores 2015 YAAASSSS KWEEN YAAASSSS MARRIAGE-TRAVAGANZAAAAAAAA: A SLIPPERY SLOPE TO HAPPINAAAAAASS, was opened by the New York City Gay Mens Chorus performing a song called Its About [expletive] Time.
Declaring it too momentous a day to spend a lot of time focusing on the haters, Wilmore addressed some of the criticism the ruling received from high-profile conservatives. The segment was called Power Haterade, named for Haterades cut-rate competior, Wilmore explained.
Republican presidential candidates Bobby Jindal and Ted Cruz took some heat for criticizing the Supreme Court and the judges themselves, with Wilmore joking that the only court with the authority and religious diversity to satisfy them would have to be in space.
And what would a lot of conservative bloviating be without Donald Trump, he continued.
The host praised CNNs Jake Tapper for confronting the mogul about his views on traditional marriage. What do you say to a lesbian whos married, or a gay man who is married, who says, Donald Trump, whats traditional about being married three times?' Tapper asks in a CNN clip played to Wilmores delight.
His final target was Justice Clarence Thomas, who employed a slavery analogy in his dissent, claiming slaves didnt lose their dignity or their humanity. Do you even know what slavery is? Wilmore asked. Clarence, please approach the bench, and then jump off of it.

Okay, sounds like Trump, Cruz, Huckabee and Jindal are on the right side of this issue.
Where’s “I attended a gay marriage” Walker and the rest of the GOP field?

And yet, 4 days later, Trump has yet to come out from hiding under his bed and state an opinion, one way or the other, where the Unconstitutional ruling by the Supreme Court making Gay Marriage constitution is concerned.

Until Trump weighs in on the unconstitutional Supreme Court opinion making Gay Marriage constitutional, he should not be on that list.

He’s on that list because of his prior comment saying “Gay marriage is not my thing”.

Hes on that list because of his prior comment saying Gay marriage is not my thing.

That really is a non-committal statement that does not signify that Donald Trump will fight against the issue.

The fact that he has been completely silent on the Supreme Court Gay Marriage ruling should be a big Red flag to all conservatives that Trump really isn't interested in fighting against this.

He does not belong on your list.

Walker, on the other hand, came out quickly stating we needed a Constitutional Amendment that made marriage between a man and a woman.

You know me Danny, I support Cruz MUCH more than I support Walker. I trust Cruz MUCH MORE than I support Walker.

That being said, this was the correct response, and one I wager you will NEVER hear come out of the mouth of Donald Trump.

Why doesn’t he pick people who were strongly against gay marriage? Trump didn’t even say he was against it.

To: SoConPubbie
    We will see.
Walker has been wishy washy on gay marriage. His latest statement is suspect as a result.
Trump is on record for not being for gay marriage and supporting traditional marriage. But he hasn’t made it much of a campaign issue.
And that might just be a good thing. Trump is for bringing jobs back to America, which is the largest social issue facing America.
To reverse the gay marriage travesty, We are going to need more than just a President talkin trash. We are going to need Congress on board to limit the courts, impeach the justices, or pass an amendment.
Either that or we need a national preacher. I could still support Huckabee, if he can get the momentum.

That's not a social issue Danny. Don't redefine terms to fit your support of a candidate.

Trump did say he didn't support gay marriage. He just apparently hasn't said anything since Friday. On Friday Trump was still responding to the Obamacare ruling.
Gay marriage is not my thing

I assume by that comment you are referring to Ted Cruz.

If Trump is not stating anything now, he will not do anything about it later.

In order to get anything accomplished on this issue, you will need to rally the troops, set out an agenda, commit to the agenda, and then do the best you can do to implement the agenda.

That is Ted Cruz, and Trump is still hiding under his bed.

Half the people unemployed and learning to live off the government and other’s people money is not a social issue?
If that ain’t a social issue, I don’t know what is.

yeah, i never heard of him.

If that aint a social issue, I dont know what is.

 It's an economic issue Danny.

Government should not be ACTIVELY involved in providing jobs for people, it should get out of the way so that a Free, and Fair market can flourish and provide jobs. This is the approach of Ted Cruz.

This is where Huckabee falls down. He is a Big-Government solutions guy and instead of taking the limited, small government solution to this problem, more often than not, Huckabee will try and legislate away the problem.

Anyway, jobs is an economic issue, the impacts of not having a job, from a spiritual perspective, yes, it is a social issue, and I guess from a corporate perspective, could be considered a social issue.

But I still would counter that stating that the JOBS issue is a social issue is a re-classification by you to support your candidate.
