I find the behavior of the liberal media obnoxious in the extreme. The linkage being made is ridiculous, but is working. Turn about is fair play, though.
On a thread someone mentioned that the Democratic Party has a racist past and should change their name. That is a good suggestion, but a bit abstract. Are there other symbols that we can demand that our enemies relinquish?
The Che t-shirt and hammer and sickle flags are obvious ones, but they are not official logos, and the latter is rarely seen. Any (blue) State flags that are objectionable?
Apologies in advance for my annual vanity posting.
I agree!
Thx for posting that. It’s worth making a poster of.
They could change their name from the Democratic Party to the Progressive Communist party. At least they would be telling the truth.
You realize that all the media companies you complain about are publicly traded. Why don’t conservatives get together and buy a couple?
Right on! That sadistic butcher has to be nailed to the liberals. The movie Motorcycle Diaries has to be condemned as a LIE but instead, the commie teachers are designing lesson plans around it.!
Hear, hear! Were I in charge in the House, I would make it a point of order any time someone uses the word society or public when they mean nothing other than government.
It is one of the ideas I contemplate from time to time, but by itself, it isn't enough.
Currently I think the more important need is to get everyone focused on the problem with a single and determined intent.
Yes, definitely.
I guess no one got the point! Too young?
The rainbow flag is HIGHLY offensive to me. The rainbow is a symbol of God, not of poop sex.
As a member of the DAR and the UDC; as a conservative; as someone whose Southern roots on both sides going back long before the United States was a nation; as the daughter, daughter in law, granddaughter (all the way back on both sides) and wife of veterans; and as someone who has lived in the South for more than half my life; the Confederate flag does not represent me.
Now ties, boys.
That’ll drive me nuts....

The poison pills (er, excuse me, “shareholder rights plans”) in media companies together with employment agreements in place to ensure the editors stay in control are amazing and prevent hostile take over.
Newsweek took bankruptcy and fading away into nothing instead of permitting Rupert Murdoch to give their shareholders value bc of their bias.
The NYT operates (at a loss) with a massive trust that insulates the paper from answering to the board and shareholders.
So no it’s not easy.
It's a ubiquitous symbol used on all sorts signage ranging from restaurants, plumbing companies, even campaign signs. If you start looking for it, you'll see it everywhere. Macy's is only the most egregious example.
It is as offensive as the hakenkreuz of the Third Reich.
Macy’s adopted the red star in 1858. It symbolized the founder’s history as a sailor.
The Communists didn’t adopt it until 1917 or so.
Macy’s had it first, by several decades.
?? (Glad you’re on base. God Keep you safe.)
